12. FAVORITE BOOK GENRE? 

originally i was goona be basic asf && say his fav is sci - fi ... but although my ideas are cliche ( i am not that cliche LMAO ) but since he isn’t that big of a reader, it’s hard for him to pick a genre that he would consider his favorite. he really has to be drawn into the story for him to enjoy it. he does however, enjoy george orwell && considers animal farm && 1984 to be two of his favorite books. some other books he also enjoys are flowers for algernon ( which i guess is sci - fi lmao ), && othello.

androids were created for a number of reasons- for assistance on missions, for research and development, to prevent the f a l l a c y of human error that still seemed to happen at an alarming rate because despite the fact that it should be an extinct occurrence, humans still made the foolish decisions they did on their missions. hopefully the prometheus would be a better venture- it held promise, or at least it seemed like it did. despite his intelligence and his code meant to simulate what he assumed was human thought, his judgement was still cloudy. although, he supposes that’s part of being human-like.

as is a lack of attention, he assumes as he runs into the poor man in front of him, and despite his human appearance he’s still metal, probably still hurts a bit more to run into him than the average human. “ 미안해요! “ Words fall from his lips in instinctual korean with a bow before realizing the man in front of him probably doesn’t understand a bit of it- he sometimes forgets that he’s not really in the place he was manufactured in. “Ah- I’m sorry.     Eames swallows, trying to steady himself, trying to focus on anything, something to ground him. He hears Arthur’s voice and latches onto it, like an anchor in the ocean. Is it still on the ship? he asks, and Eames somehow finds the strength to nod, adrenaline working against shock to pull him back to his senses. “Yes,” he says finally, pointing down the passage to his left. He’s quickly coming back to his senses, feeling more resolute now. “Badly injured, we can hope.” Considering the mess he made, he can’t imagine it will stay alive much longer. Then again, underestimation is not something they want to be toying with right now. He thinks for a moment, decides he can do this, because their lives depend on it, and nods for Arthur to come with him down the passage, gun and knife still in hand.

part of him didn’t want to hear the answer to the question, && feels a hint of dread when eames answers that it is. from the sight he would EXPECT the thing to be on it’s way out. maybe now it’ll be easier for them to get rid of the fucker. arthur begins to follow quick behind him. “ what happens if we can’t kill it, man? “ he didn’t mean to cause anymore stress on to what they were already both feeling but he was worried this thing would somehow find a way to over power them, even tough it seemed more unlikely.
