i think that one of the more obvious tells is simply an aversion to cigarettes, like when she was younger. it's really the only time that she doesn't smoke, which most members find weird, but wouldn't decipher it as a "tell", unless they already knew that she regressed. verg, however, would know. he is the kind of caregiver to be on the more discreet side normally, but takes extra care with ryoshu, trying to support her with it not being in a super obvious way.
ryoshu also tends to not use her acronyms as much- and if she does, she tends to use them in ways that are ultra-specific to her regression. sinclair, already being the only one to really pick up on her acronyms, notices this, so of course he would be the one to gravitate to being her caregiver. he worries over her a lot, as he simply wants her to be comfortable. ryoshu tends to be a low-needs regressor, so even with his worrying, she doesn't require much to be content. ryoshu enjoys it when sinclair reads to her. it reminds her of when rien would read to her, but this time, she actually gets to hear the endings of the stories. sinclair is never harsh to her, either, which is a nice change of pace.
Like, no this character isn't using a pacifier or gripping onto a plushie or padded or wearing childing clothing, but they are hiding behind their most trusted person in the friend group, either a parental figure or close friend, when things feel too big and new.
They aren't crying out for mommy or daddy, or throwing a tantrum, but they're sobbing to themselves in the middle of the night, clutching their pillow like a person, because everything feels too big and too much
They aren't burying themselves in pacifiers, teethers, or plushies, but they're chewing on their shirt or hand when they get anxious and hugging their pillow to their chest like a lifeline
age regressed Kim Dokja who gets visibly distressed when the scenario doesn't go to his original plan and the moment he makes it back to the complex he locks himself in his room and sobs into his scenario plan ntoebook <- he does this as an adult as well but instead of crying it's dissocation and obsessive planning

He's holding on to Heewon's sleeve and the moment he notices himself do it he lets go incredibly suddenly and distances himself from her for the rest of the day and prays she doesnt hate him

Disclaimer that this is not a cute regression post . If i have to suffer dante gets to suffer too. Nothing bad happens i just project fictive style.
Goes without saying but they do not have a word for the experience, and feels a deep sense of shame about their regression due to needing to be in charge of others and able to make quick decisions under pressure as their 24/7 career.
They regress to a diverse range of ages, but mostly sticking under the eight range at absolute oldest. Their most frequent regression age is 1-2 when alone. They range up when expected to speak or mask the experience. Their regression is an involuntary reaction to pain, stress, and trauma. You can imagine how that's inconvenient.
Dante is not a vocal little. Nor do they like relying on others, much less letting on that they might need help doing a 'basic task'. The people most likely to notice are Faust (regressor, also the stealth kind), meursault (regressor, not stealth but not overt.), Yi Sang (flip), and Vergilius.
Does not like their neck or clock being touched in general but especially hates it when regressed. Tends to take snubs and general disrespect so much more personally and holds onto them for longer when regressed.
Vergilius leaves them be unless they are visibly struggling, and tends to not baby them much, knowing very well that bringing attention to being small will make them Freak. Or just completely deny everything and bottle it up.
Their favored activities are reviewing previous logs, drawing, and laying down on the couch in their office. They aren't a very energetic little, though they may seek outside entertainment when they're particularly understimulated.
Faust in particular is a favorite because she asks the right questions and avoids the ones that make them feel ill. They paralell play together in Dante's office sometimes.
They like to have their hand held if someone is walking the same place they are, though will typically fall in line just behind without seeking contact if they're stealth. Most likely to grab Meur, Faust, or Yi Sang's hand.
Perceptive sinners or associates may notice if they pick up on Dante being quieter than usual. Dante tends to be mechanically silent when slipped, speaking only when prompted to.
They tend to caregive themself more than anything, though it's typically more of a 'it would be deeply unfortunate to Not have these things when i Need them' way. Just preplanning and seperating their 'adult' self from their 'childish' self.
Lowkey daydreams and yearns about being spoken to how vergilius speaks to charon (patience, begrudging affection) and getting to indulge emotions instead of forcing themself to not react.
Well behaved. But the kind of well behaved that comes from knowing tantrums and crying come with embarrassing, lasting consequences.

Does not possess much in the way of comfort items. What they have acquired thus far tend to be items they can explain away as simple necessities your everyday person has. They are envious of Don Quixote's ability to have a collection no-comment, and Hong Lu's room being so eclectic that things like plushies or teethers aren't out of the ordinary.
They used to chew their sleeves back when they had a mouth.
Lowkey hates regressing bc its too vulnerable. It used to be a thing he'd do when he felt safe but noli bullied him out of it so now it really only happens as a negative reaction to high stress or trauma triggers so he doesn't have a lot of positive experience with it.
Thumb sucker. This poor man needs a paci but refuses to get one bc it's "too much."
Cries a lot. Another reason he hates regressing he doesnt like crying in front of anyone and its too easy to set him off and its too hard for him to stop.
He cries for "cookid" a lot. When he misses him hes inconsolable for hours. If you can't redirect his attention elsewhere he just has to cry it out.
VERY clingy. Holds onto you when youre going anywhere. Hand, shirt, whatever he can grab a hold of.
His shark pjs are a godsend for regressing at night, though. Leads to him calling it "shark time" in his head :^))
Guest learns about his regression when he catches him "destressing" after a match. He also regresses so he clocked it pretty immediately despite his attempts to hide it.
Guest's non judgement and comforting presence makes it feel safe again to regress. Guest also regressing alongside him definitely helped him open up more.
