FEATURED ARTIST: Brenna Murphy Brenna Murphy weaves trans-dimensional labyrinth using personal recording devices, computer graphics programs and digital fabrication. Her work is an ongoing meditation on the psychedelic composition of embodied experience across physical and virtual realms. Brenna Murphy (b. 1986, Edmonds, WA) lives and works in New York. She studied at Pacific Northwest College of Art, Portland, Oregon. Her first full-length color monograph was recently published through Pleasure Editions. She is currently developing a series of 52 virtual spaces titled Realms that will be published weekly on the net for download and navigation. Brenna also works collaboratively with Birch Cooper under the collective name MSHR, producing interactive sound installations and ceremonial performances. MSHR will perform at Pioneer Works in Brooklyn on March 24.
