Catch This is only the unpolished version of the actual art that I have finished. I will make the full version available once I have everything organized in December.
Sunset Gleam Sorry about all of the reposts on this art. I keep finding errors a few days after I post it lolz. Made with Paint Tools SAI.
Art Summary (June- Oct.)
Hey everyone!
It’s finally time that I start writing art journals based upon a monthly period. Since this is my first journal, it will be a summary of what I did over a 5 month period. After this, I’ll start writing journals after every two month. This current journal is dedicated to the art that I have submitted specifically from June 18- October 20.
I have to say, I’ve gone a long way from the day I first created this account! The theme I had for June was animals, which mainly consisted of fluffy owls and jellyfish. Also had the occasional wolf here and there. At the time, I had no real goal of what I was going to paint for the next few years so I drifted along different genres of art.
July was the month where I began to make tutorials and also won 1st place in the Drawing Tutorial art group’s Underwater Tutorial Competition. I also gave an interview regarding my work since I was the winner to the competition.

Q. About myself. A. I am a self-taught artist and have been practicing digital art on Paint Tool SAI for over 4+ years. I usually practice whenever I can in between school and such, so I get a lot of practice each week. Q. When did I find my passion for art? A. I always had a knack for Art when I was very young. I remember that I drew everyday and always tried to draw new things, and as soon as I got my own personal laptop, I developed an interest in digital art. Q. Favorite piece from my gallery? A. My favorite piece from my gallery is Winter Spirit. When I first started this piece, I had absolutely no idea how to paint an owl. Turns out it was better than I expected xD This was also a wallpaper gift for my dad.
After all of my activity during these two months, I began to slow down with my art progress due to school. Regardless though, I still continued my art hobby at times and managed to throw out some technique art work that involved my Water Stream Tutorial. I also started painting my OC’s, something that I have been drawing and planning for the past few years. I won’t be posting all of the OC artwork on my DeviantArt however due to personal stuff and such. Though I will post one here and there to keep things in progress.
That’s all for now, stay alert for my next post between Dec. 31 to Jan. 6!
Status (11/13)
November starts the mark of a new genre of art! I just recently started doing manga art so I'll be posting some new art work starting today. Most likely, my future art will also be in manga style. New tutorials will also be up soon. If you want to add a suggestion for a tutorial, just add a comment on my DeviantArt page and I'll see if I am able to compile a tutorial for it.
Wish
Here’s one of my OC’s, Venaire. The line art took forever to draw out… Never thought it would take so long with this new type of line art drawing.
Drift
Here’s a jellyfish that I made as a finished example for a jellyfish tutorial on my DeviantArt page.
Shipwreck Requiem
So… I decided to draw a ship and it became a shipwreck. Just to clear this up (and make a self note on it), the instrument is not a normal grand piano. Being a pianist myself, I’ve always imagined playing the piano without pedals but being able to apply the pedal effects with my mind so I don’t have to move my foot every time lololol.
Anyways, I painted this after my vacation in Hawaii so yeah, I decided to create this piece based from my snorkelling boat trip.
Winter Spirit
At first, I had no idea how to paint or even begin painting an owl… And this is what happened after hours of experimenting. IT’S SO FLUFFY how did I even paint this LOL.
Rhapsody
Here’s a quick sketch of a random sketch fantasy background that I made for my Facebook home banner.
That treehouse in the background began as a random spire of metal/stone/ tree so I have no idea what to call it now lol… And I was too lazy to paint anything else after finishing the piano so I just speed sketched some random nonsense and added a house to it.
Gaze
Here’s a simple piece featuring all of my OC’s. I’m still working on the designs for each character so this was rather fun to create. It seems that I have a knack for creating shadow outlines in digital art so I’ll stick with this type of media for a while until I manage to improve on my line art and colouring. Names of OC’s in order (right to left) Avacyr, Venaire, Orion, Soleia, Auron, Iriden, Myriad
