I'll still focus mostly on pokémon, I'm just afraid of getting "stuck" drawing like, JUST the same 4 characters over and over again, you know?

I used to have a whole blog just for Team Magma/Team Aqua content... and I ended up with burnout so bad, I almost quit drawing for good. So now I'm just trying to find a balance between "what I want to draw" and "what others want to see", if that makes sense.

my blog was supposed to be like, just a general art blog. I'm into a lot of fandoms like Pokémon, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, Saint Seiya, probably some other stuff I forgot... but I'm afraid being too "out there" with my content range might be a problem.

like, I don't know if people just enjoy my art in general, or if they enjoy ONLY certain fandom content, and I'm trying to find out what sort of thing I should focus on drawing.

but I really don't wanna get stuck in just ONE fandom, or ONE ship, like back in my old blog.

this is going to sound goofy as hell, but drawing gooner shit SAVED my art. And it healed me as a person, too.

like... I haven't genuinely ENJOYED drawing like this in many, many years. I'm not even saying it in a horny way, like, now I'm actually interested in making even the "boring" details look somewhat decent.

Drawing naked women is also helping me make peace with my own body (especially petite, flat-chested women, like Courtney). I've always felt REALLY ashamed of my body type, particularly of my own tits... but now I draw Courtney's tiny boobs and I think they're cute as hell.

here's the thing. ever since I've started exploring my own sexuality (which involved a fair amount of porn, since I live in a small, rural Christian town, so it's not like I could just announce to my friends and family that I'm one of them LGBT people...) I've been APPALLED by how most porn seems weirdly violent towards women. or dismissive, at least. Even in cartoon form.

so... I actually find peace in drawing women just enjoying themselves and their own sexuality. Like... NO uncomfortable stuff where the women look obviously in pain/embarrassed/being coerced. Just a bunch of gals being comfortable, enjoying themselves and having fun, and being in full control of their bodies and pleasure.

and I think we need MORE of that.
