the more i read about women and the criminal justice system, the more irritated I get. i wish i could say it’s unbelievable but no, the way women are treated by a majority male “justice system” makes a lot of fucking sense. cuz what the fuck do you mean when women finally get out of abusive relationships and have all the evidence she needs, they are STILLLLLLLLL dismissed and called liars. they will do everything “right” and somehow they’re still wrong. for example, Nicole Addimando. Abused by her boyfriend. Raped and impregnated by him. Had all the evidence. STILL labeled as being a manipulator. STILL told “you didn’t have to kill him.”

The justice system does nothing for women then wonders why they don’t feel safe to report. Damned if they do, damned if they don’t.
