i made this in 2023 and my music taste has changed over time. but i kept a few songs from when i first made this playlist in there. i still update it sometimes though, heueueh. ^_^
also some aquaball (and bluebird) headcanons i have:
- when eyeball and aqua argue, eyeball sometimes picks her up and just holds her till she thinks aqua is done being annoying/upset.
- when bluebird comes back, amethyst starts to nickname her as “weird four legged creature” or any nicknames related to insects/bugs with four legs??? yes??? and bluebird freakign HATES IT. this also leads her to hate bugs in general because they remind him of amethysts nicknames
- bluebird uses any pronouns. yup. sorry i know you asked for just aquaball but let me sneak in at least two bluebird hcs. ehheueheheh
- aquamarine and eyeball sometimes sneak into little homeworld together and make plans on how to destroy the entire place. of course theres a time where they get caught by steven and theyre kicked out. so now theres a sign at little homeworld that says “BLUEBIRD/AQUAMARINE AND EYEBALL ARE NOT ALLOWED HERE. UNLESS THEY’RE WILLING TO ACTUALLY CHANGE.” btw YES eyeball hates that steven actually wrote “eyeball” instead of “ruby” on the sign.
- rubies can purr, but this isnt common knowledge for other gemtypes. so one day when aquamarine was petting eyeball, she just started purring and she genuinely thought eyeball was going to explode or something.
- aquamarine’s wings flap faster whenever she feels an intense emotion, like excitement. (ehh this is kinda already canon because her wings DO flap faster whenever shes angry in the show. but shhhh.)
anyways. sometimes when shes flustered because of eyeball, her wings do. That. and she doesnt even realize until its pointed out
- rubies are social gems. they definitely enjoy roughhousing/play wrestling with eachother. its basically their way of saying “i like having fun with you!!!” … now whenever era 3 begun and eyeball was “forgotten” (reference to one of bluebird’s lines) she didnt have anyone else to roughhouse with. until she met aqua!!!! quick timeskip to whenever they are actually way more closer with eachother, eyeball sometimes play wrestles with aquamarine and aqua plays along because she knows it reminds her of her old ruby squad. BUT. the first time eyeball tried to do this with her, aqua GENUINELY thought eyeball was trying to attack her lmaooshajdhsjhd. of course eyeball is extra careful with aquamarine everytime they play like this because shes!!!! a tiny gem!!!!! shes worried she might poof aqua!!!!
- aquamarine and eyeball learned about couple stuff mostly through cheesy romance movies. they also occasionally watch rupphire do cute things in public,, like holding hands or calling eachother petnames, and theyve tried to copy them. both aqua and eyeball just say that whenever they try out these kind of things, it doesnt mean anything. its just “”purely to make steven and the crystal gems think theyve had a change of heart.”
- aquamarine likes doing puppy eyes and being all cute or whatever just to get eyeball to do something for her. no matter how many times she does it, eyeball ALWAYS falls for it.
- aquamarine and eyeball hold hands when theyre sleeping together or cuddling. its kinda like otters do whenever theyre sleeping to avoid drifiting away from eachother.
- eyeball sometimes lets aqua use her chisel because it reminds her of her old wand. she finds it really cute whenever aqua is swinging it around and talking about how shes going to kill steven with it. (shhh theyre both evil freaks so of course they think that seeing the other talk about doing evil stuff is “”cute.””)
- aquamarine enjoys laying on eyeball’s head and eyeball enjoys laying on top of aqua (just using half of her body so she doesnt accidentally poof her or somethinng lol) … imagine it as those pictures of the bigggg cats or dogs laying ontop of someone.
- (kind of adding on to another hc in this list) aquamarine and eyeball have “faked” getting together, having several dates, an entire wedding, etc. just to be like “HAHA! GOTCHA!! WE WERENT EVEN TOGETHER. WE WERE JUST LYING TO YOU!!!! SO YOU COULD THINK WE CHANGED AND TRUST US!!!” … but that last part never happened. sure, aquamarine has perfect memory and she remembers that all of these cute couple things her and eyeball are doing together are just “fake.” nothing else. but even in private they act like a couple. so who are they fooling ???? when its just the two of them???? she has brought it up to eyeball once during an argument, telling her how everything they did together didnt mean anything and its HER fault that they both got so distracted with “pretending” to be together (typical aquamarine never taking the blame and just putting it on someone else.) but eyeball rebutted with the fact that it was AQUAMARINE’S idea in the first place. of course this makes aqua reflect on how carried away she got and how … maaaybe …. she wouldnt mind kissing eyeball everyday and calling her “my ruby” in a real way. being romantically involved with eyeball doesnt sound too bad, even if its not meant to fool anyone anymore.
ALRIGHT!!! THATS ALL THE HEADCANONS ILL PUT HERE!!! i have some more, but. i need to remember them off the top of my head hhhhhh. i hope these are enough headcanons for you though :^)
