DIY Planters 9° › Wooden Stand ‹ … Copy the arrangement above and nail them together. The bigger white piece of wood should cover your pot completely. While the darker pieces that you see on the sides, can extend as long as you'd want them to. I used a stick of bamboo for support as my plant was longer than I had expected. - Use another piece of wood as a base (not visible in the image), behind the larger block. Place your pot atop this. - Tie the plant at places with short lengths of thread. … #diy #wooden #wood #pot #howto #carpentry #plants #planters #Kalimpong #India

DIY Planters 7° › Somewhat of a Barrel ‹ … Cut rectangular pieces of wood in 3:1 ratio. Place them in a line on the floor like this "|||...|||" with the long edge touching each other (no. of wooden pieces ≈ circumference of your barrel). - Take two thin strips of metal, place the parallely to each other and perpendicular to the wooden pieces like this "=|". Fasten the strip onto each wood using tiny flathead nails. - Once you're done doing that, fold the entire thing such that the strips face the inside of the barrel. Take the extra strips of the metal on either ends "=|||...|||=" and hammer them right where they overlap. - Place the barrel atop a plate and then your pot inside the barrel. Make sure your pot's rim is way below that of the barrel. … #diy #wooden #wood #pot #metal #howto #carpentry #plants #planters #Kalimpong #India

DIY Planters 5° › Broken Pots ‹ … I am sure we all have issues with pets breaking pots around the house! Here's what you can do with 'em. [I mean your pots. Not pets, they are adorable just the way they are.] → Use some sort of mesh to cover the broken bit, just enough to let your orchids through. Feed them from the top; its weight shall hold them together in place. Hang it up using binding wire. And that's it! Reuse your pots in different ways and try planting other types of plants, so long as they don't get a head rush! :) … #diy #clay #pot #wires #orchids #howto #plants #planters #kalimpong
