I watched Project Hail Mary and now I only want to dress like my highest self
The other night, I decided to watch Project Hail Mary. I didn't know much about it, but my mom had mentioned she had enjoyed it, and I've been on a real space/alien kick lately. Shout out to Bashar. ;)
I enjoyed the ride, and I had two main takeaways. (I am no physicist, movie critic, or authority on anything of the sorts. Just a human with feelings and thoughts.)
Any ET that Ryan Gosling's character would ever encounter in that situation would be WAY more intelligent and way less cartoony. But I see why the choice to make him seem so cute and goofy may have been made, and can appreciate it. Benevolent ETs all the way.
Now I only want to adorn my body with my most ME clothing and embellishments, as I perceived Ryan Gosling's character to have done. After he's all cleaned up after sleeping in that soup. The t-shirts, the sweaters, the hair. The glasses, y'all. I don't know why specifically (yes, I think I do), but I'm inspired. If he can look so right in his being, why can't I? It's also probably not just the clothes, but the embodiment in general.
I'm not going to sleep any longer on stylemaxxing in a way that most represents me. At least not as long as I'm riding this wave! It's all an experiment, and for fun. I'm having fun playing around with it. I used to wear a self-imposed uniform to work. Now I'm more inspired to PLAY.
My guiding princple has been, "What makes me feel more like me?"
I was also just in Europe for about a week and I feel like that freed up some of my mental constraints around dressing my body as well. But this post is about PHM and RG. We can talk Euro another day.
