Him being hesitant to do anything with Magnus cause he wants to be respectful of your feelings and not make you feel left out
He always invites you on a trip with him and Magnus. Usually, you gratefully decline cause while you love them dearly, their lovey-dovey stuff makes you want to zap yourself to another dimension
Him asking for your blessing before he proposes to Magnus
Trying to be a good big brother and cook you breakfast
You and Magnus actually enjoying his cooking and you saying: ‘Mag, I like this one. Keep him around.’ To which, Alec looks down and smiles before serving your eggs and bacon.
During an argument, he’ll try to calm down and he’ll ask you for your take on the situation
He basically treats you like Izzy, but nicer
Braiding your hair after you’ve had a good time in Magnus’ club cause you’re too tired to do it yourself
When you get hurt he’ll do everything in his power to make it better
You’re the spitting image of Magnus so he feels immense love towards you too since you’re the closest person to the actual love of his life
Tries to not stress about you 24/7, fails massively
You’ve been through most of his highs and lows with him and he knows you’re the one person that will be there for him till the end of time (apart from Alec)
He forces himself to let you live your life the way you want to, even if that means a little danger is involved sometimes
Smiles fondly at Alec when he rants about a dangerous situation you’ve put yourself in because he knows no matter what you’ll have someone you can rely on other than himself
But honestly, game night at the institute is heaven after Simon introduces the mundane game of Monopoly to the group
You and Alec being the only people he’d kill and die for
Cradling you when you’re crying after a romantic heartbreak wishing he could take the hurt away with his magic
He doesn’t hesitate to blast his magic at anyone who gets too close to you in his opinion
Even Raphael doesn’t stand a chance in dating his little sister
Eventually, when you find your soulmate, he is as supportive as he can be
After making sure your beloved knows not to mess with you and your feelings of course
All he wants for you is to be happy and healthy and he’s filled with joy when you finally find that person
