their skin feels similar to velvet; their hair feels similar to silk; their scales, when in their merforms, are opalescent
they have two tongues, side by side in their mouths
they have three hearts that are all in a cluster in their chest--they're not connected, but they are really close to one another. they can survive if one, or two, of the hearts die--but they will become weaker than they used to be with each less heart they have
Como is an aquatic based planet, but their buildings / structures are predominantly on the little land they have
Kieran’s palace has a natural hot springs that is in the center of it; his palace was actually built around said hot springs years before him, & it is one of his favorite places in the palace
Comotians can withstand extreme cold & extreme heat; the water on their planet is icy cold, save for the few natural hot spring areas ( such as the huge natural hot springs that's in the middle of Kieran's palace )
Comotians are extremely fertile, & because of this their birth control is strong & advanced--it's an edible candy-like substance: while the entire species is highly fertile, the royal family is the MOST fertile due to ancient magic that runs through them / that has been in their blood line for eons
they don't have nipples--bc they don't have a need for them ( babies don't drink milk on their planet, they get their early sustenance & nutrients from a juice made from this fruit that grows on trees found around the hot springs locations of their planet--so the huge hot springs in the middle of Kieran's palace has a bunch )--since they don’t need to breast freed, all Comotian females are fairly flat-chested
also, since they don't have nipples, this makes Kieran ( & other Comotians admittedly ) fascinated by any species that does have them
typically Comotians can have 2-6 children at once, & it's rare for them to have 1 kid--& the royal family, being the most fertile, typically can have 4-10 children at once ( it's rare to have any less )
Kieran has 4 siblings ( his parents had 5 kids, including him ), & he is the oldest/popped out first--they are all SUPER close & adore their older brother & he adores them
Kieran does not have a number in mind for how many kids he’d like to have--because however many kids he has he will love & adore them all because GOD he just loves kids in general & can't wait for the day he is a father himself
