"It’s very peaceful I guess. I enjoy it for the most part," Norman shrugged a bit, and tilted his head eyeing. His lips pressed together, arching a brow. "You? Single? I find that hard to believe, a good looking guy like you not having someone." His words were teasing but also rather sincerely; smiling at him.

"It's not so much how I look like, but my... reputation, I suppose." He was glad for the appearance of the waitress with their food before he went into detail, giving her a grin and a thanks when taking his plate. Not surprisingly, he had gotten the same thing as Norman. She wasn't a creative one, he could tell. "Maybe that'll change after today?" He wiggled his eyebrows, picking up the burger and taking a huge bite out of it.

Ruins

Seeing as the other is unfamiliar, and in no status of Team Plasma, N slightly lost his guard, but the question made N tilt his head a little. Ghetsis…? Did this man mistook him from Ghetsis? In assumption, he must not be from around here. And by the looks of him, he doesn’t seem friendly of him either. N kept his eyes narrowed. “No. I am-” Don’t say his son. “-N.” 

His gaze flickered at the man’s clothing. Is he some kind of pirate? In anyway, why is he looking for Ghetsis?

"N." He couldn't think why, but the name should have rung a bell in his head. He sighed and put a hand to his temple, irritated. He had come all the way from Hoenn just to find the wrong man? The universe was just full of jokes that day. He supposed he could get a lead from the younger, anyways.

"I'm Archie, leader of Team Aqua. I thought this was the Plasma headquarters." He flicked his eyes over the cliff, crossing his arms. "Or, used to be."

"Just that mostly, though I do work out a lot and renovate my gym, home and greenhouse whenever I get the chance." Which meant usually all the time, and wasn’t surprised by the question. "Believe it or not; divorced and currently single." Norman wasn’t the type to hide the truth, and wanted to be open as much as possible. "You?"

"Doesn't seem all that bad of a life." He listened, nodding a little. His assumption was right. "Currently very single, surprisingly." He shrugged. His job didn't allow for much of a relationship, besides his and Maxie's hate-based one. He did like someone, but again, his work prevented him from starting anything with her.

Ruins

When the young male blinked, his eyes adjusted his surroundings as he had found himself surrounded by ruins. Each crack, each rock, each rubble is all familiar. He stood high, wind brushing him as he could hear nothing but the silence. Although, his muscles could hardly move- He know where he is. He just couldn’t pin out why. 

Everything was silent. No one was here, but N held back the urging tremble that threatens to release. He stood where he was raised, where he was king. Was king… He repeated in his head as he began scanning the ruins. Nothing is here anymore, so is he still here? N shook his head from the question. Memories clung to him like patterns the more he looked around. The memories he had avoided through his life time.

With a grunt, N trailed towards the cliff area where the rest of the castle had torn away. The view was magnificent as his gaze was fixed on the horizon. Even though this rubble had cause him uneasiness, he now felt a wave of tranquility. Suddenly, hearing a small movement of a rock, N bolted away from his thoughts and whirled around to see whoever has come, his heart pounding loudly, unaware of how close he is to the end of the cliff. Is it Team Plasma? Is it Ghetsis? There’s no where to hide or run now, so he stood his ground to face them.

Taking quiet but determined steps, the Team Aqua leader locked eyes with the man near the cliff. It had taken some looking around, being careful of the dangerous structure and wondering why exactly he had been summoned by the figure known as 'Ghetsis'. He knew little about him, other than that he ran Team Plasma and his general appearance. He almost wanted to rule the young man out, as he didn't give him a sense of authority, but who could judge from appearances.

"Are you Ghetsis?" It was a straight forward question, as he seemed to be the only person in the area. A frown tugged at his lips, eyebrows furrowed and keeping a stance of small mistrust.

Norman nodded, understanding how busy work must have been for the other man. It had been the same with him as well. “Ah I see,” He remarked, not unkindly. “Still, try not to push yourself too hard, nothing good ever comes of it.” Norman hummed lightly. “Ah well, you know I’m the gym leader here right? There’s really nothing much to tell unless you wanted to know something specific.”

"Just that?" He threw him a coy smile. "I rather like working hard. How about your relationship status?" It should have been obvious by the intense flirting, but the man was in his older age-- there must have been some kind of solid relationship he had before this.

Norman turned to the waitress. “I’ll just have the usual, thank you.” As he flashed her a friendly smile, watching as she went and headed off to get their order. His eyes and attention landed back onto the other man. “So,” His arms folded onto the table smiling. “Tell me more about you.”

His attitude seemed to change, becoming a bit more serious and reserved in the sense he'd have to edge his way around the truth. "Nothing much to tell. I'm bound to my job all the time, and I'm rather proud of our progress, though the work load is drowning." He chuckled softly at his own joke. turning his eyes at Norman, raising an eyebrow. "And you?"

Norman arched an eyebrow sliding into the seat, smiling at him. “Is that so? That must mean my plan is working then, let’s just both hope this lunch goes well~” It was strange flirting with someone, especially after his divorce but found himself loving every minute of it. “Ah it’s coming up to noon; usually around 11:30 is when they begin to serve lunch.” As a waitress came to them, handing them menus for lunch and scanned through it.

"Makes sense, then. I thought it was getting around that time." He thanked the woman and looked over the menu, not exactly sure what he wanted. "Surprise me," he shrugged, handing the menu back to her. If he saw something he liked from around, he'd probably ask for that too. The pirate wasn't all that great in menus; all you can eat buffets were more of his style.

"I try to be!" It had been good to hear that, the laugh ended up bringing a giant smile to Norman’s face, bowing his head towards him with a smile. "We shall see~" He responded with a soft chuckle of his own, seeing the door open the gym leader couldn’t help but smile. "Ah, I see you are also a gentlemen as well. Keep this up and I might really fall for you~" He gave him a wink before heading straight inside of the place, swinging his hips back and forth teasingly.

Archie rolled his eyes and grinned a bit, going in after him. "Careful, you're attracting more eyes than just mine, mate." He didn't mind Norman's display, and people seemed to be used to this, so he didn't think much of it. He picked a spot for them to sit, settling down and scratching his head through the bandanna.

"What time is it, anyways? I doubt they still serve breakfast right now."

"Of course not, after all, it’s the man in the relationship that pays~" Norman’s grin seemed to grow large, and winked at him. How long had it been since he could have this much fun and teasing? It seemed to long ago. The gym leader winked back, waving himself in a playful manner, leading the other straight towards the restaurant; hoping it would be an okay establishment for the both of them. "No worries, believe it or not, I’m fairly well off. So please eat to your heart’s content."

"I have myself a gentleman, then!" He let out a loud laugh, crossing his arms loosely in front of his chest. Archie wasn't one to be picky about the places that he ate - it had been quite a while since he had been to any kind of food place - as they usually met his standard of 'good food'. He grinned at the other male, growing quite fond of his constant teasing. "You're asking for it. That money's going to be gone fast." He opened the diner door for Norman, motioning inside with one hand. "After you, ma'am."

"Work can be tiring, though I am glad to hear that I’m not the one that’s putting you to sleep," Norman joked with a cheerful laugh, his eyes gleamed playfully at the other man; allowing a smile to form upon. It had been nice to be around someone his age for a change, hands slide into his pockets glancing back at him curiously. "Hmm… how about we go to the dinner and grab something to eat; it will be on me." 

"You can consider a part of our date," The gym leader winked at teasingly, followed by a large grin on his face.

Now he was talking. "Did you think I was going to pay?" he joked, taking one more look out at the sea before starting up the beach to the path they were using. "You might not want to pay the whole tab yourself, many have made that mistake before." He winked back with mirth in his eyes, but for an entirely different reason-- the man was known to be able to eat quite a lot, taking after his own father in that aspect. Paying for his dinner would burn a hole in anyone's pocket.

His eyes glanced back, chuckling softly at the yawning from the other man; glistening with bemusement. Hopefully, the tour hadn’t been so boring yet, as he took the other to the museum for the first place for them to check out before heading to the forest that was near the left located not to far from the ocean; and hummed thinking of where to take him next. “I hope I’m not putting you to sleep.”

Archie enjoyed the sights, not sure why he hadn't come to any places on his own in his free time. The land wasn't so bad, he supposed, mulling this over as he stepped on the soft sand of the beach on the edge of the forest. If he closed his eyes, he could see himself back home, salty water filling his young lungs in the weekend mornings. He was brought from memory with Norman's voice, looking over at him with a calmness.

"Of course not, just a bit tired from working constantly." It wasn't often he was allowed to sneak away from his job as a leader, not wanting to pile things on Matt and Courtney, though it was much better than getting angry and lashing out at anyone.

"Is that so? We’ll have to see afterwards now won’t we?" The sense of a challenge lingered within the air, pressing his lips together eyeing the other man as he began to lead him straight into the city; ideas whirled within his mind of where to take the other man. Of course, the museum was definitely as was the gallery but where else would interest the other?

Archie stretched and yawned, not specifically tired as he kept up with Norman. He trusted the gym leader would take him to the high points of the area, needing not rush him or press a thousand questions. He attracted a few glances his way, and he just simply smiled them off, not sure just how far his reputation had reached. Maybe it was his appearance? Who knew.

— “I was just told to give it to you, not told what it was. Don’t kill the messenger.” He crossed his arms loosely, watching Archie quietly.

"Right. Run back to your master and tell him he'll be expecting one back soon." He reached out to pat the top of the other's head, a wicked and teasing grin on his face. He usually picked on the younger simply because he was Maxie's right hand man, not to mention eliciting a reaction out of him was just as fun as getting one out of the Magma leader.
