auburn could swear that she had felt valeria's approach from miles away, but against her instincts, she had not moved away from the bench she had been sitting on. "valeria," she finally said as she could no longer pretend not to notice the witch's presence. "if you're still looking for dimitri, i'm not hiding him in my pocket. now, unless you have business with me, leave. i'm here to meet my brother. neither he nor i enjoy inferences." (vampire)
VALERIA still relished a little bit in hearing her own name. it was always like this when she first recovered her memories, it always gave her a thrill. of all the many things that had changed over the centuries, this is one thing that remained. valeria liked constants.Â
CONSTANTS were hard to come by, especially as the world developed. technology changed things so rapidly. thirty years go by & a city can change entirely. the world was always shifting, people always dying, even languages evolved, given enough time. but vampires, valeria was pleased to note, vampires stayed the same. sure, sometimes they died, but auburn && dimitri were too strong for that.Â
FINDING either of them was a bit troublesome though &&& while she would have much-preferred dimitri to be the first person she greeted, it was auburn that her spell locked onto. so she followed diligently because auburn always knew where dimitri was. she was no cause for concern though, not at all. dimitri might be fighting it, but he was destined to be with valeria.Â
POUTING at auburnâs reception, but not particularly surprised, she began talking. âbut surely you must know where he is? I just got my memories back & Iâd really like to see him. If you tell me where he is Iâll be out of your hair in no time, promise!âÂ
