[   i haven't been active here lately, but here's an update. ;; 

my lil doudous have been feeling kinda stressed and down and stuff so i finished (?) this up my bbies. maki-chan ♥ 's u

-- Seeing no reason to disagree, he left and boarded the subway to his small one person apartment.  As he sat there, moving further and further away from the Gaze building, he found himself already anticipating his return. Whether it was the fame and notoriety that would come with the job, or just the potential to work next to someone who he could maybe become friends with, it didn’t matter. He just wanted to start working as soon as possible.

     As per usual, Makishima gathered the materials, sketches, and documents necessary for the day's meeting and (hopefully) fitting. Slender arms burdened down with enough papers to form a few encyclopedia-sized books, the designer-in-training took long, slow strides toward the meeting room. More than enough natural light poured in from the windows that made up the entirety of one wall of the long room, but there were still numerous, small spot lights embedded into the ceiling. Following typical meeting room layout, the furnishings were pretty minimal -- a long, large table lined with black leather chairs and a contrastingly elaborate projection setup. Though he'd done business in this room a few times before, he could never quite get used to the openness of the space. It was actually a little unsettling. 

     The proud redhead was already seated at a chair closest to the projection screen, long legs crossed one of the other at the thighs. She chatted away with one of her colleagues Makishima recognized only by his obsessively bleached and moussed hair.  The assistant stepped around the conversation and deposited the documents at the head of the table and rolled his shoulders.With a sharp inhale and a drawn out exhale, Makishima mentally prepared himself for a stuffy, nerve-wracking environment. 

     In all actuality, it was to be a simple pitch to the new model and his manager. And, hell, it was even with the boy who he could speak freely with -- Toudou, wasn't it? Makishima took a seat next to Charlotte. He sat about mid-way back in the chair and folded his hands in his lap. The platinum blond designer took his leave, which prompted Makishima to take his phone from his pocket just long enough to check the time. 

     Almost. 

     Not long after, Charlotte stood and began a greeting, complete with grand arm movements and smiles. Ah, they were here.
