Tosh slung her bag over her shoulder, practically skidding out of the classroom. She'd skipped lunch, and was starving. In her rush, she didn't see the locker door open, until she was on the ground under it. "Not again ..."
The concentration of scents around her was near overwhelming. She hadn’t been in a town this small, with a population so saturated in death and pain. It was like everyone in town was hiding something, carrying some torch, a memory so painful.
Though she couldn’t blame them. She had respect for the nemeton, it could suck the pain out of the town, feeding on the magic. It was like an old friend to her.
So there she sat, palms out stretched on its cut stump. A ghost of its former self. But still the most powerful thing in town.
“I missed you too …”
Hydras were guardians. One of Giselle’s ancestors had been the Lernean Hydra that was slain by Heracles, which had guarded one of the entrances to the Underworld. So when she and her parents moved to Beacon Hills, they had been drawn to the Nemeton and took up the unofficial position of being its protectors.
It was more than powerful enough to defend itself by having people completely pass it by without noticing it, but there were more and more supernatural beings arriving in town and there was a chance it could be found against its will.
There was a rustling of leaves as the blonde stepped into view, sightless silver eyes staring at the other female.

Toshiko turned, placed on the stump in a low, but defensive manner. Silver. She hadn't seen silver eyes in over 200 years.

Also. Why is everyone private and semi selective? Maybe I'm an old rp fogey. But rping with new people is like half the fun.
So I went through my following and tried to get rid of the archived blogs and follow the moved ones. I hope I can start rping again soon. And I hope tumblr rp hasn't changed too much in a year.

So ... It's been a year. I e been rereading this blog. And I'm considering taking up rping again. Just not sure what's changed in the tw community. Like tags, people I used to rp with. Just wondering if anyone is still around that would be interested?
