Who cares about Homestuck?
I feel like I'm the only person who doesn't care how Homestuck ends because Hussie became such an insufferable human being over the last few years. He and whatever team are working on the Homestuck team that some people spent $10,000 on don't even have the decency to release any updates via Kickstarter about it. There's just complete radio silence; you know, it's not the first time a Kickstarter has gone like that where all the funding for it was either lost, spent on things unrelated to the end product, or simply taken without any possible intention of using it.
The comic turned into rubbish, the creator alienated and indirectly insulted a lot of fans.
It was a big part of my life too, and I wasn’t there for the very beginning but I stuck around for a really long time and eventually got tired of all the mega and giga pauses because I have better things to do with my life than fawn over this silly web comic. I have fond memories of it when it was good and I made a lot of friends during my time as a fan.
But now it just leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth and I don’t really care how it ends. Maybe I’ll change my mind and look like a total hypocrite but as it stands right now there’s nothing that can convince me to pick it back up again to read through what I missed (most of which is related to why I dropped it in disgust anyway) and no way it’ll end will make me feel like it was worth anything.
And yes, I know I’m just opening up the flood gates for tons of hate mail. I don’t really care, I expect it from the users on this site anyway. But it’s the only medium I use that is big on Homestuck and I want to throw my opinion in about the series ending whether people like it or not.
