{  ♕  } — That feeling again. Having walked into the lobby of the Arcadia Movement, Yuki nearly dropped the flyers she was supposed to hand out that day. The dueling network was on the giant flat screen, the Fortune Cup being advertised– a familiar face showed itself upon the screen. A King in all his glory. Her head began to throb, a dizzy feeling taking over.

It was a day like any other, as far as Divine was concerned, if you wanted to be frank about it. He was only really paying attention to the upcoming Fortune Cup because Aki would be taking part, as she had been given and invitation to compete. He had his doubts about Rex Goodwin’s sudden, unexpected tournament but only time would tell whether his instinctual doubts were unfounded or otherwise. Looking up from his book, he noted the girl’s presence but didn’t immediately respond beyond a small greeting and nodding to acknowledge her arrival. But when she showed signs of dizziness, he closed his book and placed it down to move swiftly to her side and placed an arm around her waist to steady her, looking down at her with a smile plastered on his features.

“Are you alright, Yuki?”

Lips pressed to her forehead, fingers brushing through her scarlet locks, Divine focusing on her heartbeat; focusing on  calming her.  “They’ll have to rip you from me and even then, I’m not letting go without a fight.” His words were both possessive and kind- giving his words a manipulative, yet charming quality.
