              YOU    SMILE ,       LIKE  TINDER  AFIRE     /       DANCING  SOFTLY  THROUGH   SMOLDERING    ASHES.         feeling   his   friend   shift   even   closer ,      imagining     how    he’d     squint      at   the   codes   running   across   the   screen   seemingly   in   a   wild   chaos ,      the   midnight   haired   had   to   hold   back   a   chuckle   that     threatened     to   slip   past   velvet     /       warmed   his   heart       /        bemused      and     mellow.        straightening   his   mimic   again   ‘pon   hearing   crow’s   words ,      casual     and   yet   so     familiar    it    made  yusei   feel   at   ease   the  mechanic   only   hummed   for   a   mere   moment.      resisting   the   urge   to   make   a   mocking   comment ,    words   already     embracing     his   tongue    he     merely     turned   around   with   his   chair   with   lifted   eyebrows   to   inspect   his   friend’s   carriage.   

                     ‘           don’t   know …   maybe  you  sing  next   time ?       it’d   be      entertaining      and   i’d   hear   it   surely.            ’         teasingly    and     playfully    were   his   words   &   tune   but   soft   his   hues   /   indicating   no   ill   meaning   nor   hurtful   cause.      yusei   usually     wasn’t     much   of   a   tease   but   from   time   to   time   his   mouth   reacted   quicker   than   his   mind ,       amusement      drowning  in   each  syllable.      stretching  his  back ,     bones   popping  the  duelists  stood  up   to     accompany      the   orange   haired  male.         ‘        yea ,   a   bit.   what   did   you   get ?   ’      gratefully      placing  his   palm  for  a   fleeting   moment   on   his   friend’s   shoulder ,     steady     and    pliant      the   star  chosen   felt   hunger  all   of   sudden   befall   him ,     his   stomach  grumbling      loudly.      crimson   dusted   his   cheeks   faintly   ‘pon   such   rather   noise   emitting   from   his   own   body.      

        '     guess  i  could  ----     ‘     he  pauses  ,     gaze  turning  in  an  opposing  direction   ;     grey  eyes  of  storms  &  tempests  locked  ‘pon  a  distant  object  within  the  corner  of  the  room  as  he  begins .     TONE  LIFTS  ,   SINGSONG  TIMBRE  AGAINST  HIS  USUAL  GRAVELLY  VOICE  .     a  half  hearted  attempt  at  a  tune  ,     it  is  well  known  that  a  raven  is  not  a  songbird .     ‘     yuusei  ,     help  me  open  this  damn  door  before  i  come  in  there  and  kick  your  ass .     ‘     he  teases  once  more  ,     playful  back  &  forths  between  long  time  friends .     it  would  truly  be  hard  for  them  to  offend  one  another  ,     as  is  how  a  strength  of  unity  should  be . 

     a  smile  of  amusement  lifts  his  features  at  the  sound  of  the  other’s  hunger  ,     a  snort  of  laughter  drawn  sharp  into  his  lungs  as  he  glances  over  at  the  other .     ‘     did  ya’  not  eat  at  all  today  ?     ‘     he  turns  the  bags  upside  ,     spreading  groceries  across  the  kitchen  surfaces  for  yuusei  to  clearly  see .     there  is  but  a  hint  of  concern  upon  marked  expression  ,     faintest  of  creases  curved  into  his  brow .     ‘     you  really  should  ,     y’know .     three  good  meals  a  day’ll  do  ya’ .     ‘     he  offers  a  brief  gesture  towards  the  food  now  on  display  ,     from  the  colourful  array  of  salad  mix  down  to  the  very  basics  of  rice  and  fish .     ‘     take  your  pick .     ‘

the kiss had taken him by surprise and almost immediately,   his fingers reach up to touch the place where the ghost of the kiss still burned before he cups the other’s face without a moments notice and kisses him so deeply that it’s hard to figure out who is breathing for who.   he could taste the ruggedness of crow’s strength,   the strength that he carried for everybody and for the first time,   seto felt safe.   he felt safe here,   with crow,   and nowhere else with anybody else.   he doesn’t know how long it lasts but when he pulls away,   he misses it already.

🌹  a ship that i have as an otp :     ME , SCREAMING BLUEBIRD FROM THE ROOFTOPS . crow / kaiba is canon nobody can tell me different.💖  a ship that needs more love :     reverseshipping .     it basically doesnt exist in this fandom bc everyone jumps on the kiryu/yuusei boat but HELLO THERE IS SO MUCH UNDISCOVERED POTENTIAL HERE N ALSO, SUCH AN INTERESTING DYNAMIC. also, here's a mention for firebirdshipping bc aki/crow is so important but ppl constantly hate on crow for like stealing aki's limelight or whatever so they forget how fckin cute they could be

💣  a ship that pisses me off :     y’know im not sure if i have one in this fandom, but if i had to pick the one i hate the most i’d say aki/yuusei. there’s a lot of “you’re only in love cause he saved you” stuff going on there, not to mention yuusei shows a lot of habit for ignoring her or brushing her off. aki deserves better. 👀  a ship i’m curious about :     HMMmmm probably markedshipping (yuusei/crow) like ??? idk if i ship it or not but there’s potential there u kno??? there’s development that could be done.💦  ship that is taboo :    me, leaving the outlines of this fandom just to make a point: tom paris n b’elanna torres👅  a ship that you find most sexy :     squabbleshipping.. probably... im trash like that whoops
