Blood splatters covered his chest, bullet holes accompanying them. The fight was brutal, not something he’d normally want to be caught up in. One arm had been torn up, but it was forming back now as he slumped against a wall. Shirt and coat were torn, mostly nonexistent at that point. His throat ached; Spine was screaming at him.
“Shit...” He grunted, attempting to move, ignoring the protests of his body. What a terrible idea. Everything felt heavy. No longer feeling like moving, Heine closed his eyes.
