Part 1, The newcomer.

The year was 980.

You have just arrived at the city of progress to see what all the fuse was about, you headed off the air craft to head towards the festival.

It was loud and crowded your boots hit the concrete heavily as you walked through the crowd, some of the inventions caught your eyes most were some items you've seen before.

At first you thought it was just a normal festive as always until you saw some banners of a man's face on them, you assumed it was another successful student of Heimerdinger as always.

But enough of that while walking through the crowd you decided to stop and examine some of the newest inventions, a lot of them were in a stainless steel golden color type this was probably the head Councilors idea as gold is a very nice color but it does get annoying seeing it a lot.

After a while of walking around just looking at the inventions the announcement started, you headed over there to see how this man was.

[Mrs. Kiramman] Our most famous protégé, Jayce Talis.

The visionary behind the Hexgates, a beacon of trade and prosperity for our great City of Progress.

You were a bit intrigued not actually knowing what the hexgates were until you realized they were the tall buildings that helped the aircrafts.

you listened as she continued talking before she was abruptly stopped by Jayce.

[Jayce] Excuse me.

Sorry, sorry. Yeah. Excuse me.

As he pushed through the crowed he caught a glimpse of you but only on what you were wearing as he couldn't see your face.

[Mrs. Kiramman] He's a very busy man.

Once jayce got through the crowd of people Mrs kiramman went back to talking, you on the other hand listened to jayce and his friend talking.

So he took the opportunity and flicked her hat which caught her off gaurd causing her to grab him by the wrist

[Jayce] Ow ow ow! Cait.

[Caitlyn] Serves you right.

Cait looked up to see her mother glaring at her possibly making sure she was doing her job which caused Cait to let go of jayces wrist.

Jayce turned around to see her mother.

[Jayce] you still avoiding her?

Cait ignored his question.

[Caitlyn] I'm working.

[Jayce] oh, I can see that. I mean, there's so much crime to thwart outside your family's tent.

Jayce chuckled a bit

[Caitlyn] I can only imagine the strings she pulled to have me posted Here.

Caitlyn sounded a bit annoyed with her mother.

[Jayce] it's your fault really, for not following her into a career "more befitting your station."

Caitlyn sighs

[Caitlyn] she'd do anything to keep me from seeing the real world.

[Jayce] well, at least you'll have front-row seats to the speech.

Jayce had a smirk on his face after he finished that sentence feeling a bit proud of himself.

Caitlyn then turned around to face him

[Caitlyn] speech? She asked a bit confused.

[Jayce] Mm-hmm. I'm giving the big address tonight.

[Caitlyn] Hmm. We really have descended into anarchy she said jokingly.

[Jayce] have fun herding the drunkards.

After he said that he walked away and Caitlyn went back to doing her job.

When you finished listening to the whole ordeal, you decide to talk to the new inventor.

Jayce was walking away possibly back towards Mrs kiramman, so you walked after him once you got in arms reach you placed a hand on his shoulder making him jump.

He turned around to face you.

[Jayce] Oh, hello civilian!

You chuckled before reaching for your helmet taking it off.

[Y/n] civilian? I'm not really around from here as you can see.

Jayce's eyes widen as he saw you weren't, your skin was a mix of a grayish brown skin color with green eyes and pointy ears.

[Jayce] You're a Chirean right?

He said while crossing his arms examining you.

You held your helmet in one of you're arms.

[Y/n] sort of I'm half Chirean and half human, my mother was a Chirean and my dad was a human.

[Jayce] Oh! So your parents did cross breeding?

You cringed at the word "cross breeding" but necessarily he wasn't wrong to be  exact.

[Y/n] well sort of my mother had a little bit if Chirean looks but she mostly looks human so yeah.

[Jayce] that's interesting I've never seen a hybrid before but it was nice meeting you uh..

[Y/n] Oh! Right my names y/n l/n you'll probably see me around piltover most of the time.

[Jayce] well it was nice meeting you y/n I'll see you around some time!

After that you both went sperate ways, while walking away you realized you haven't seen the undercity in a while.

So that was your next stop, after you get some sleep.

You headed back towards the aircraft stepping on board heading towards your bedroom, when you entered your room you flopped down on the bed slowly falling asleep.

Part 4

It's was normal day in the undercity, instead of the usual weather it was raining instead.

The only way it could rain is because of the water on the topside, it leaks into the soil towards the underground.

You rolled off the couch rubbing your eyes, after cracking you're back you headed towards the bathroom to get ready and change your clothes.

When you finished you grabbed an umbrella and headed towards the last drop, when you reached the last drop you walked through the doors to see the place completely empty.

Being a bit confused you walked towards the counter.

[Y/n] Thieram where is everyone?

Thieram turned around to face you, the poor guy looked exhausted like he's been working all day and night.

[Thieram] well the shop isn't- yawns - open yet.

[Y/n] alright, well is silco here?

Thieram rubbed his eyes before responding.

[Thieram] yeah he's up in his office, he told me earlier before you walked in he wanted to see you.

You nodded as you set the umbrella down before heading up the stairs, when you reached his office door you knocked.

[Silco] Come in.

Slowly opening the door stepping inside once you entered his office you closed the door behind you hearing a click sound.

[Y/n] you wanted to see me boss?

Silco turned his chair around to face you.

[Silco] since I don't have any missions for you and sevika, I need you to go get me some more cigars.

You looked at silco annoyed since you really didn't wanna.

[Y/n] ugh alright, I'll go get you some cigars.

He had a smirk on his face.

[Silco] Thank you, darling.

You rumbled as you turned around walking towards the door, you could feel silcos eyes burning you in the back of the head.

After leaving the room you walked down the stairs grabbing your umbrella, walking out of the last drop the rain trickled down the umbrella as you walked towards the trade market.

It would take a while since the trade market was a couple of blocks away, so you continued walking examining your surroundings while doing so.

You didn't know why silco couldn't do it himself but then again silco never leaves that room unless you wants a drink or has a meeting to go to, but the faster you get to the market and get his cigars the faster you can get a drink.

feels like forever to get to the trade market so you started running, the water splashed underneath your shoes after a while of running you finally got to the trade market.

[Y/n] I need a pack of cigars.

[Market dealer] what do you have to trade for?

You sighed knowing you had to give something in return, so you searched your pockets pulling out a necklace with a green emerald in the middle.

honestly you didn't wanna give the necklace up but you didn't have much of a choice, so without hesitation you handed them the necklace you two swapped items they got the necklace and you got silcos cigars.

You shoved the packet in your pocket as you turned around running back to the last drop, the water splashed all over you leaving you drenched in dirty water.

Making you feel disgusted but you ignored the feeling, you pushed pasted the doors heading up the stairs towards silcos office.

You opened the door stepping inside making a sloshing sound with every step, which made silco turn around.

[Silco] I see you got my cigars and you're also wet..

You looked down and saw your clothes were now see through, but honestly you could care less.

[Silco] bathrooms on the left, you can find some of jinxs clothes in there.

You set his packet of cigars on the desk while you walked towards the bathroom on the left.

Once you entered the bathroom you saw a pair of Jinxs clothes on a rack, you grabbed them as you took your clothes off.

Her clothes fitted you shockingly once you finished changing you stepped out the bathroom in silcos office, you walked up to silco standing infront of him.

He examined you from you're head to your toes, he smirked as he had a cigar light in between his lips.

[Silco] I see the clothes fit you well.

[Y/n] uh yeah, it's a bit much.

[Silco] you'll get used to it eventually.

Silco grabbed the golden syringe item, the one for his eye he began to put it together handing it to you.

You grabbed it from him walking up towards him, you sat down on his lap You and him were face to face you gently placed the syringe up to his eye.

When you did that you felt his hands on your hips you triggered the syringe as it pierced his molten eye watching the purple liquid go down his face.

Silco jolted in pain that was your queue to get off of him, so you stood up from his lap taking a step back.

[Y/n] well now that's done I'll get going now.

Silco didn't say anything he just sat there sighing as he soon got over the pain.

You started to walk towards the door, opening the door leaving the room.

Silco watched as you left the room, he then went back to his paperwork.

You headed down the stairs walking towards the bar stools sitting down.

[Y/n] the classic Thieram.

Thieram nodded as he gave you a few shots of vodka after a couple of drinks, you started to feel a bit tired.

[Y/n] I'm gonna head home now.

[Thieram] okay..

You stood up from the stool walking towards the door, you left the last drop heading home when you got home you flopped down on the couch passing out.

Part 3

It was now another day, you got up from your couch out the door heading towards the last drop.

You headed upstairs towards silcos office where you saw him and jinx talking.

[Sighs]

[Silco] The world's growing smaller every day, Thanks to the hexgates. And now, we're cut off. The topsiders are leaving us further and further behind. What happend?

[Jinx] she already told you.

[Silco] I'm asking you.

You sat there as you watched Jinx jumped from the ceiling onto his desk which made a thud.

[Jinx] One of those firelight wackos was a girl. With pink hair.

[Silco] hmm...

Silco then turned around in his chair handing the golden syringe to jinx so she could help him. She got closer to him so she could help with his eye.

[Silco] Your sister's gone. you know that as well as I do.

[Jinx] I know. I know. Sisters, right?

[Jinx chuckled]

[Jinx] You can't live with 'em, can't stuff 'em back in the ol' babymaker.

You looked confused and scared jinx obviously didn't know how babies are made.

[Silco] today's screw-up will set us back weeks.

Jinx leaned up against silcos chair next to him.

[Jinx] I'm sorry.

[Silco] I need to know that I can rely on you.

Jinx was sort of just messing around while listening to him.

[Silco] I'm doing this for us, Jinx. All of us thr sons and daughters of Zaun deserve more that their runoff.

He the let go of her wrist as she rubbed it.

[Jinx] it won't happen again.

She held the hold syringe item up to his eye.

[Silco] I know.

It then pierced at his black molten eye, he jolted in pain as the purple liquid flowed down his eye.

You watched as you winced at the sight knowing that had to be painful.

Silco leaned forwards as he sighed.

[Silco] Sevika and y/n will clean up today's mess.

[Jinx] Sevika? That ogre couldn't clean a dust bunny with a blowtorch, y/n could probably do better than her.

[Silco] she'll suffice. You should focus on your gadgetry.

Jinx laid down on his desk with a groan causing silco to look at her.

[Silco] take some time.

[Jinx] i-i Don't need time.

Jinx stammered at her own words.

Silco looked away his back towards her.

[Silco] take it anyhow.

Jinx got up from his desk in a hurry leaving silco alone.

You pushed the door open facing silco.

[Y/n] so I'm guessing me and sevika have some cleaning to do.

Silcos eyes widened as he turned around to face you.

[Silco] I see you're finally here, are you finally willing to work now.

You stood there still clearly angry at yesterday.

[Y/n] ugh, yes I'm willing to work again.

Silco had a smirk on his face as he pulled out some paper work.

[Silco] Good, You're my top gaurd letting you leave would be a great mistake.

Silco didn't mind you're presence near him, you might have been one of his somewhat favorites the only reason for that is you sometimes gave him hard times but most of the time you corporated with him.

But anyway on to jayce and Mel now.

The council was having a little party as celebration for the day of progress the room was filled with people.

Mel raised a golden cup to an old woman before Turning around on the balcony

Elora walked up next to Mel.

[Elora] Fundraiser's going well. Your mother would be proud.

Elora looked at Mel while saying that.

[Mel] Hmm... would she?

She questioned Elora

Mel and her mom Don't have the best relationship sort of like Caitlyn and her mom except her mom didn't push her away.

[Elora] Tired of mingling? She asked Mel

[Mel] Hmm. These people have nothing new to offer me. The only one actually worth my time is him. Mel looked at a giant air craft in the sky with Jayce's face on the side.

[Elora] the golden boy. She chuckled ah, he's won piltovers heart. Oh, speak of the devil.

Mel and Elora both turned around to see Jayce, who currently has everyone's eyes on him.

Elora waved at Jayce motioning him to come over there, which he did walking towards the two on the balcony where the sun was setting.

Jayce walked up to Mel.

[Jayce] Could I borrow you for a minute? He asked Mel who looked a bit surprised.

She followed behind jayce leaving Elora alone on the balcony.

Jayce and Mel were now in the library.

[Mel] To what do I owe the pleasure?

[Jayce] it's Heimerdinger.

Mel scoffs as the two walked around the room.

[Mel] when is it not?

[Jayce] we've shown him our research. He thinks we need more time.

Mel leaned up against the table.

[Mel] it's progress day. Representatives from all over the world. Have come to see what new wonders the city of progress has to offer. If there's a tome to present a new creation, it is now.

Jayce sighs knowing Mel is right about this.

[Jayce] great. Jayce sounded a bit annoyed with the whole ordeal.

While Mel leans against the table chuckling.

[Mel] Heimerdinger is a great scientist. But he's old. He only ever sees the past. Piltover needs a leader who looks forward. Someone like you.

[Jayce] you really believe that? He questioned Mel

[Mel] hextech has the potential to change everything. She turned around pointing to the smaller version of Piltover.

[Mel] the world is ready. And I've already spoken to several potential investors.

[Jayce] investors? He asked confused by what Mel meant.

[Mel] of course. Chuckles everyone wants hextech for themselves. It's your speech. Give the people a glimpse of the future.

After that conversation Mel left the room leaving jayce there.

Now let's see what jinx is up to!

Jinx was busy throwing her grenades off of the edge of her lair or room whatever it is. Jinx held onto the grenade she had already pulled the clip off.

[Jinx] it wasn't her.

She dropped the little bird like grenade on the floor as she panicked.

[Jinx] it wasn't! She then kicked the grenade off the edge as it had just exploded.

[Jinx] I know. Just... just some wannabe street trash. I got confused, that's all. Now, he thinks I'm weak. "Sevika will clean it up." Sevika's a regular Johnny-on-the-spot. I'm not weak!

The voices chatterd in her head as she got a sick idea

[Jinx] and I'm gonna show him. Oh, I'm gonna show him. You'll see.

The crowd was cheering as they waited for Jayce speech, Viktor sat there waiting for jayce.

[Viktor] where were you? They were asking if I could do the address.

[Jayce] you should come up with me. We're partners.

[Viktor] No, no. Not in front of all of them... you... have your speech prepared?

All Viktor heard from jayce was uh-huh as he watched him walk away.

[Mrs. Kiramman] An inspiration to piltover's future and that of all humanity. Please join me in welcoming to the stage... Jayce Talis.

Jayce turned around to Viktor.

[Jayce] guess it's time.

Jayce took a sip from his cup before going out on stage.

The crowd cheerd as jayce stepped out onto the stage.

While that was happening, Caitlyn was out on duty doing her normal patrol

[Jayce] uh good evening. I know many of you probably didn't expect to see me here today. And believe me, I'm just as shocked as you are.

The crowd applaud as he said those words.

Jayce sat him clip board down reading it on the stand infront of him.

[Jayce] My family and I are simple people. In our factory, we made hammers. They were probably used to cut the stones you're standing on right now.

As Jayce said those words he saw how proud his mother looked in the crowd of people.

[Jayce] No one in my life expected very much of me. And that is precisely what makes this moment so extraordinary. A few years ago, the hexgates opened their ports to the world and made piltover prosper beyond anything we could have ever imagined.

The crowd of people stood up and began to cheer for him.

[Jayce] But... we're not done yet.

In the back Viktor was about to pull the lever waiting for jayce to motion him to.

[Jayce] this year, we've created something new for you. Something that... um...

Viktor waiting patiencetly for the signal.

[Jayce] that we will share with you...when the time is right.

Everyone in the crowd was muttering and talking.

[Jayce] things that will put an end to your hardships. Whether you're the scion of our high houses, or an honest laborer from the underground. We vow to keep pressing forward, for we are the city of progress. And our future is bright.

The crowd cheers happily as fireworks went off in the back outside.

Meanwhile with Caitlyn and the other enforcer.

[Duty captain] that it, then? I thought that talis boy was kind of genius. Last year, didn't he launch a blimp halfway across the continent?

[Caitlyn] Airship, actually. An airship has a rigid metal hull. It's not a blimp.

[Duty captain] it's a balloon, ain't it?

Another enforcer said sure as hell looks that way.

[Duty captain] Pardon us, if we aren't quite so refined as you, milady.

[Female enforcer] what are you even doing here, kiramman? Don't you have a cocktail party to attend?

All the other enforcers laughed at her joke while Caitlyn didn't mind that much, she then turned her head and saw fire.

[Caitlyn] Fire. Fire!

This caused all the other enforcers who were on duty to act fast, at the scene.

[enforcer 2] what's happening?

[Caitlyn] get the fire brigade!

Caitlyn ran to get the fire extinguisher.

The other enforcers heard a voice inside the fire.

[Baby voice] help. In here, please. Help me.

The enforcers ran inside without a second to think while Caitlyn took care of the fire.

[Baby voice] help. It's so hot, please. I'm trapped.

More enforcers ran to help Caitlyn put out the fire.

[Baby voice] I'm a helpless little girl, and I've set the building on fire.

The voice changed into jinxs voice.

[Altered voice] by accident. Totally by accident.

As Caitlyn finished putting the fire out she saw jinxs calling and dropped the fire extinguisher

[Caitlyn] get out. Now!

[Altered voice] also, I brought this dynamite. Goodbye.

An explosion happend possibly killing the enforcers inside the place, while Caitlyn got flinged back.

Caitlyn struggled to get up but she caught a blurry glimpse of jinx heading inside a building before passing out.

[Viktor] the gemstone is gone. Along with some of our research papers.

Jinx stole the gemstone by causing an explosion as a distraction so she could steal the stone without getting caught.

[Marcus] The situation is still developing. No one in the undercity has claimed responsibility yet.

[Heimerdinger] how did it come to this?

[Hoskel] Hmm. For too long has the underground been left unchecked.

[Shoola] we've lost touch. They may not be your preferred constituents, but they're still our people.

[Mrs. Kiramman] the undercity cannot be controlled. Not by us.

[Salo] so where does that leave us?

Bolbok was muttering something.

[Bolbok] Mr. Talis could rhe trenchers build a weapon with the stolen crystal?

[Hoskel] Shimmer, body replacements... we've seen their ingenuity over the years, of course, they can.

Jayce stood up from hid seat.

[Jayce] if the right person got a hold of it, it's possible they could utilize its energy.

[Mrs. Kiramman] we need to address this immediately.

Viktor was about to get up before jayce stopped him.

[Jayce] I agree. It was my responsibility to safeguard this technology and I failed. My mistake cost people their lives. I have come before you to recommend that we suspended all hextech operations until the situation is resolved. Including out laboratories, the refinery and the hexgates.

[Hoskel] have you lost your mind?!

[Shoola] the hexgates must remain open. Piltover's status as a global shipping lane depends on it. Thousands would lose their income.

[Jayce] But shouldn't the safety of piltover be our first priority?

[Heimerdinger] you would sacrifice your life's work?

[Hoskel] without the hexgates, my goods cannot reach foreign markets till winter. Am I to tell the noxians their next shipment of wine will be vinegar?

[Mel] councilors. It appears we are at an impasse. If we shut down the hexgates, the city will suffer. But if we do nothing, we leave ourselves Vulnerable to malefactors. More lives may be lost. Perhaps the time has come to explore a more radical solution.

[Mrs. Kiramman] what are you suggesting?

There was a bit of silence before Mel answered.

[Mel] Mr. Talis has demonstrated his commitment to our safety. He's willing to sacrifice his own enterprise. And it seems ro me only Mr. Talis had the knowledge necessary to secure the hexgates. I propose that a new chair be brought forth. And that house tails be elevated to this August body.

[Jayce] what?

[Mel] as a councilor, he will have fhe resources necessary to protect all out investments.

[Shoola] councilor Medarda, this is highly irregular. The council has held seven seats for generations.

[Bolbok] does the boy have any experience?

[Mel] only that of a scientist like Heimerdinger.

Heimerdinger looked down as he sighed.

[Heimerdinger] I believe councilor medarda is right. Hextech security should be administered by a scientist. I second the motion.

[Mel] well then shall we vote?

Meanwhile with jinx!

Jinx was listening to some music while she did her work.

[Silco] Jinx!

She couldn't hear silco.

[Silco] Jinx!

Again she couldn't hear him since the music was too loud.

[Silco] Jinx!

Silco slammed his fist down on the table stopping the music.

[Jinx] that's me!

[Silco] half a dozen enforcers, dead. Enforcers. Dead.

Jinx watched with a smile on her face.

[Jinx] yeah...

[Silco] a building blown to pieces.

Jinx chuckled as she laid her head down on the table messing with something.

[Jinx] oh, yeah.

Silco snatched the item out of her hand clearly angry at what she has done.

[Silco] Do you have any idea what you've done!

[Jinx] actually, I do.

She pulled out the gemstone showing silco it, before hanging it to him.

She stood up giggling as she pulled a lever making fireworks go off.

[Jinx] Happy progress day!

The fireworks blew up pink,blue and yellow fireworks went off.

She walked up to silco pulling him into a hug.

With jayce and Caitlyn.

Caitlyn was flipping her gun on her finger as she examined the photo. All of a sudden there was a knock on the door before it opened.

[Jayce] hey. How are you feeling?

Caitlyn stood up walking towards Jayce.

[Caitlyn] I've had a break in the case.

[Jayce] shouldn't you be resting?

Caitlyn pulled Jayce's arm towards the stool she was sitting on before perhaps.

[Caitlyn] while the trail is hot? Listen, you know how i've suspected there is a single mind behind the undercity's violence?

[Jayce] the great conspiracy.

[Caitlyn] I think whoever attacked the square is our suspect. The same symbols showed up at the botched smuggling operation at the hexgates.

[Jayce] the hexgates?

[Caitlyn] keep up. All this time, they've kept their dealings localized to the undercity. Low priority. The attack on the square changes things. They've overstepped. If I can figure out who made this, it could lead me directly to whoever's behind it all. The answer is here, staring me in the face. I can feel it.

Caitlyn took a few steps back stepping onto the red stool.

[Jayce] how do you intend on proving any of this?

[Caitlyn] if I can just work this out. Marcus will have to listen.

[Jayce] if there's one thing I've learned about the council, they need more than just theories.

[Caitlyn] since when did you concern yourself with the councils opinion?

[Jayce] since i.. became a councilor.

Caitlyn chuckled until she realized he was being serious.

[Caitlyn] you're serious, when? Why? Have they discovered how to govern with grease and a spanner?

[Jayce] ha ha. I was actually hoping you might consider joining my staff.

He handed note, she opened it up.

[Caitlyn] house "talis security" that's a ceremonial position. I'd live behind a desk.

[Jayce] you almost died, Cait. I... I just want you to be safe.

She handed him the note back.

[Caitlyn] thanks, but I already have a job.

[Jayce] No, no you don't. After the attack, your parents spoke to the sheriff. This is the best I could do.

[Caitlyn] I don't need charity, councilor yours or my parents.

[Jayce] Cait.

[Caitlyn] get out.

And just like that Jayce left leaving Caitlyn alone to her work ever though she isn't an enforcer anymore thanks to her parents.

After all of that stuff happend, silco came back to the last drop heading up the stairs where his office was.

Once he stepped inside he saw you sitting on the couch.

[Y/n] a bit busy hm?

[Silco] why are you in my office? He questioned you.

[Y/n] I just wanted to see how you're doing, but I guess I'm not wanted at the moment. You said this while you're e/c looked at his blue and molten colored eye.

Silco walked over towards his chair, flopping down in it.

[Silco] No, I need you to do something for me.

You raised an eyebrow interested on what your boss meant.

[Y/n] hm. What do you need? You said while walking towards him

Silco pulled out one of his cigars lighting it, taking a breath of it before answering you.

[Silco] a quick shoulder massage would be nice, hm?

You knew why he asked you rather than Jinx or sevika it was because you weren't rough.

Before placing your hands on his shoulder you set your battle axe down next to you, you then placed your hands on his shoulder rubbing them.

It's was now officially progress day! There were a bunch of inventions to show off.

Jayce pushed through the crowd so he could see him friend who was on duty at the moment.

People were chattering in the back which means his friend couldn't hear him since he was sneaking up behind her.

So he took the opportunity and flicked her hat which caught her off gaurd causing her to grab him by the wrist

But enough of those two, you and sevika were now smuggling the shimmer hoping Nothing will go wrong or maybe that was just you.

But anyway the air craft pulled in you and sevika both stepped on, you watched as the men lifted up the barrels of shimmer.

A man with orange hair and a mustache asked "uh, shipping manifest?" He asked sevika

The man gently lifted the bag up testing how much it weighted.

But little did you two know trouble was on its way.

The man stamped the paper allowing the shimmer to pass.

A man yelled "Ah, shit. The firelight!

You and sevika both knew this was trouble, but before you two could react you were stuff in some yellow like stones unable to move. Along with the others well expect for jinx

[Firelight leader] we have five minutes till they're out of there.

Sevika watched them pass by Here she gave them a few glares.

The walked over towards the barrels opening one of them.

[Lieutenant] you ever seen this much shimmer before?

[Firelight leader] they're expanding. Check for more below. Burn it all.

You knew if they burned it all you would be fucked silco would have a total fit sure he never loses his cool but this would be it.

Two of the firelight opened the hatch heading down the ladder.

When they both reached the bottom they triggered one of jinxs traps which automatically closed the hatch door leaving them in a panic.

They banged on the hatch door begging for it to open.

But soon they stopped you guessed they were looking around down there.

[Lieutenant] Oh no, she's here.

You heard them and obviously knew what they meant, jinx she was down there.

All of a sudden there was an explosion the air craft shaked a bit.

The the hatch opened up reviling jinx she walked through the smoke.

[Jinx] hi. She then pulled two gernads she made herself throwing them at two of rhe firelight leaving the leader all alone.

Jinx didn't look happy, she grabbed her gun twirling it in her fingers.

She started to shot fires at the leader then interrupted by another firelight appearing out of nowhere hitting her by an inch, before she fire her gun down towards the firelight head kicking them.

She then jumped on them smashing their face in the floor board.

While doing that the firelight leader was contaminating the shimmer.

The Lieutenant firelight was about to light the shimmer on fire before jinx grabbed them by the wrist stopping them.

Jinx then smacked the mask off of them reviling a girl with pink hair.

Jinx gasped.

[Jinx] vi? She questioned.

Flashback [Vi] I can't lose you

The firelight with pink hair dropped the flare as jinx still had her hand wrapped around the girls wrist.

All of a sudden the shimmer was now light on fire, purple flames surrounded jinx and the pink hair firelight.

The girl pulled away from jinxs hand trying to run away but jinx shot her before she could.

[Firelight leader] No!

The firelight leader tried to attack jinx she then pulled out her machine gun fire shots at the leader, five minutes have passed and sevika was getting herself free.

The firelight leader escaped while jinx was still fireing bullets, shooting up the place.

While doing this she accidentally shot one of silcos henchmen.

After that she stopped while sevika helped you get free, you both stepped up to jinx you were brushing yourself off while walking to her.

[Sevika] you were supposed to gaurd the cargo.

Sevika told jinx while turning her around looking down at her, while jinx gave her a death glare.

Now sevika doesn't get scared of anything.

While all that was happening the festival was Still going on.

Children were giggling and exploring.

Inside the lab there was Viktor and jayce Viktor was jayces work partner.

[Viktor] you think he will approve?

[Jayce] Heimerdinger believes science should be used to improve lives as much as we do. We just need to show him it's safe.

Viktor was fixing something while listening to jinx.

[Viktor] and what about the council?

[Jayce] we stabilize the crystal like they asked. Built the hexgates like they asked, it's our turn to decide the future of hextech.

All of a sudden Heimerdingers pet goat it was small and adorable.

[Jayce] professor. I'm so glad you could make it.

[Heimerdinger] wouldn't miss it for the world, my boy. what do we have on the docket?

Viktor stood up with his crane motioning his hand to the inventions.

Back in the undercity you and sevika walked back to the last drop aka silcos headquarters, when you two entered loud music was playing it was a party.

Where he was sitting, sevika sat down on a small coffee table while you sat on the couch.

[Silco] There are always mishaps in battle. The firelight were her target and most are dead.

Silco stopped looking through the clip board he was holding before slightly turning the chair to face you two

Sevika was silent for a moment, while you sat there feeling nervous.

It was silent again before silco turned back around facing his back to you guys.

Sevika left angrily, you got up from the couch about to leave.

Part 1

Arcane kicked things off around 980 or 990, so you could say that was the year.

Anyways you were born in the undercity district of Zaun which was being runned by Vander before he died then silco took things over, making everyone miserable people seemed to like it when Vander ran the show instead of silco.

You can't really say you disagree since the undercity was a real shit show since silco and jinx took things over.

But yeah anyways onto the chapter.

Working for silco part 1...

It was a normal day in the undercity you were feeling a bit thirsty so you headed towards the last drop a bar you knew all to well, opening the door to walk through there was a bunch of people here today.

While walking over towards one of the stools you saw sevika doing her normal gambling she usually wins which is why you don't play with her, but anyway you flopped down on the bar stool making Thieram turn around "let me guess the usual y/n?" He said sounding annoyed/exhausted.

"You know me so well chuck." You said which a chuckle.

"That's not my name for the last time, I've told you and jinx my name is Thieram not chuck." He responded as he poured you a drink of vodka.

"Yeah I know it's just fun messing with ya." You said while Tapping you're fingers on the counter as you waited patiencetly.

You heard him sigh as he turned around sliding your drink to you, grabbing the cup you chugged the beverage down it did burn for a few seconds.

all of a sudden you heard a thump next to you, turning in the stool you saw it was sevika she looked pretty happy.

"Won another game I presume?" You said with a chuckle.

"You better believe it, anyway silco wants to see us." She said in a serious tone.

Silco is a very serious man he does not play around if he asked you to do your job you better do it right otherwise he'll probably kill you.

You set the cup down before looking at sevika "as in right now or later." You questioned sevika.

"Right now." She said in a serious tone.

You nodded and got up from the stool before paying Thieram the tab, you and sevika both headed up the stairs towards silcos office.

Before knocking on the door you took a deep breath, you knocked on the door.

"Come in." Silco said from behind the door.

You and sevika both entered silcos office, he had his back towards you two as he looked out the window.

"I have a undertaking for you two." He said in a monotone voice.

You both stood there silently listening to him.

"When progress day comes, you two will export some shimmer to my customers in piltover while jinx will gaurd the cargo." He said while looking out the window still.

After that you both left his office while walking down the stairs.

"Urgh! Can't believe we gotta take jinx with us!" Sevika started.

Sevika and jinx Don't see eye to eye they both hate each other with a passion that's for sure but sevika put up with jinx for silco otherwise she would be dead where she stands.

"I know hopefully she doesn't mess up this mission on progress day."

You and sevika went back to what you were doing, sevika went back to her gambling and you were about to sit back on the stool until silco called for you.

You groaned as you marched up the stairs wonder what your boss could want now, you pushed open the door closing It behind you.

"have you heard of knocking?" He questioned you.

"Right sorry." You said while walking up towards his desk.

Stopping when you reached the front of his desk where two chairs sit. "what did you need?" You questioned him.

the chair slowly turns around showing him and the dirty gold like syringe in his hand, he clips the two pieces together and hands it to you.

you grab it before examining it "Doesn't jinx help you with this?" You asked a bit confused on why you have to do it.

"yes but she's busy with her mechanics at the moment." He said while leaning back in the chair.

you sighed before grabbing a hold of his face, you got closer bringing the syringe up to his black and red molten like eye.

getting the syringe up to his eye, the little needle pierced at his eye causing him to jolt in pain as a purple liquid went down his face.

"doesn't that hurt?" Asking him curiously.

"Hm? well it does but you get used to the pain after a while." He says while lighting a cigar.

Turning around to walk out but before you could, "could you stay for a bit I need to have a discussion with you." He said suddenly.

You nodded before walking towards the couch he had in his office, you flopped down on the couch getting comfortable.

you sort of just sat there staring at silco while he did his paperwork, it took him a while to realize you were staring at him.

"I'd appreciate it if you stop staring at me." He asked in a monotone voice as usual.

This startled you a bit before apologize, after a few moments of silence and a pen scribbling on some paper he finally got up heading towards you.

Feeling the couch shift you turn to see silco, "so what did you wanna discuss about?" You asked.

before he responded he took a deep breath of his cigar, "I'm having a meeting with the Chem-Barons and I would like it if you took sevikas place for a day by my side."

You were a bit taken back by this usually sevika goes with silco while you stayed behind with jinx.

"Uh are you sure? Not that I'm questioning your authority!" You responded a bit nervous.

he sat his cigar down in his ash tray which was scribble on in bright colors, which jinx you assumed did that.

"If I didn't want you coming with me I wouldn't have called you up here."

"R-right, so is that all you wanted?" You asked him.

"Yes that was all you can go now y/n." He told you.

You nodded as you stood up from the couch, heading out the door down the stairs.

You decided it was time to head home for the night, so you said goodbye to everyone and started to walk home since your house was pretty close to the last drop.

It only took you a few steps to reach your house, you grabbed the door knob twisting it open.

You stepped inside Closing the door behind you, feeling a bit hungry you made a sandwich real quick when you finished it you started to chomp down on it before fall asleep on the couch.

The voices chatterd in her head as she got a sick idea

Jayce turned around to Viktor.

While that was happening, Caitlyn was out on duty doing her normal patrol

The crowd applaud as he said those words.

Jayce sat him clip board down reading it on the stand infront of him.

[Jayce] My family and I are simple people. In our factory, we made hammers. They were probably used to cut the stones you're standing on right now.

As Jayce said those words he saw how proud his mother looked in the crowd of people.

[Jayce] No one in my life expected very much of me. And that is precisely what makes this moment so extraordinary. A few years ago, the hexgates opened their ports to the world and made piltover prosper beyond anything we could have ever imagined.

The crowd of people stood up and began to cheer for him.

[Jayce] But... we're not done yet.

In the back Viktor was about to pull the lever waiting for jayce to motion him to.

[Jayce] this year, we've created something new for you. Something that... um...

Viktor waiting patiencetly for the signal.

Everyone in the crowd was muttering and talking.

This caused all the other enforcers who were on duty to act fast, at the scene.

Caitlyn ran to get the fire extinguisher.

The other enforcers heard a voice inside the fire.

An explosion happend possibly killing the enforcers inside the place, while Caitlyn got flinged back.
