Sorry for the confusion. I'm not adding affection points, I'm putting in the dynamic points! In Step 1 Tamarack and Qiu have the same dynamic for MC no matter what because they just met. Right now, in the Step 2 demo preview and beta their dynamics are always the same still but you have the options to change it to whatever.

In the released version of OLNF, when you start Step 2 the dynamic settings will be different based on how your MC behaved. Of course, players might still just change the dynamic to what they had in mind, but hopefully some people will enjoy seeing what comes of their choices in terms of how S2 Tam/Qiu treat react to MC.

Adding different points to such a high amount of choices really slows things down so to keep up with monthly betas I didn't worry about that system until now.

I live! I'm so sorry for being away for so long. It's been one family emergency after another (and some overlapping) for months and months. random life lessons that i've learned through this i wish to pass forward: Please please please get power of attorney over your old people so when they go nuts you can help them. Also if your dog starts to try to barf but nothing comes up and he won't eat even his favorite things and he has a bloated belly, for the love of God, take them strait to the emergency vet because they may be dead by morning if nothing is done. It's called GDV and it's a nightmare. Also please get pet insurance if you can. Luckily my dog survived!
