Damian is not scared of anything. obviously. Damian does not get cold, its impractical for an assassin to so much as shiver at a low temperature.

Boards of Shame and Pride

Superman is a very very forgiving person. he wants people to do better. he will tell people when he's disappointed, but more likely he will try to give them a chance to make up for or fix their mistake or mistake.

Batman is not the sort of person who hands out complements very often. the ones he does give out mean something.

the JLA likely has a pair of boards up on the wall. one with names of people who Superman has been disappointed in, the other counting Batman's complements

the rules on the Board of Shame are a lot more strict then the Board of Pride. any complement counts for batman, its a positive thing after all.

Bruce is working on something in the JL headquarters. very busy, very important work.

arguments out in the hallway filter though the door, he tunes it out at first, not having heard the words really, so why bother, he has work to do. not his circus, not his monkeys.

then the argument comes closer to the door and he can make out the words... and the voices. it was Dick. and Jason.

Bruce Wayne is happy to nepotism his children jobs. but he has rules about it

-I dont care if socially you use the surname Wayne, once your at the office you have to use your legal name -I am nepotisming you a job, i am not nepotisming you into KEEPING the job or getting you promotions. if your an idiot and get yourself fired thats a you problem. if you want a promotion or pay bump, also a you problem -your allowance is going down once you have a job. i want to motivate you.

Respect

Batman 100% repects his villains, and his villains respect him in turn. does that mean they like each other? oh absolutely not, they for the most part absolutely hate each other.

Batman is known for at the very least listening to the motivation of his villains and suggesting reasonable suggestions other then chaos or distruction, then understands if they say "oh yeah, i tried that already, didint work out very well." not that he understands them then going to crime, just understands that it didint work.

and the ones that they havent tried and are still reasonable? some villians have actually been known to give that other option a go. they would rather avoid prision and that is an avanue that is legally avalible to them.

the only exeption to this is Joker. Batman does not respect Joker. Joker does not respect Joker. Joker does not listen to anything. Joker is there for chaos and chaos alone. Joker also killed Bat's son.

Damian being a menace for months after arriving at the manor. barely cooperating with Bruce let alone the rest of Bruce's kids.

Damian fights constantly, refusing to fall asleep all the way in front of any of them becouse he doesnt trust them yet.

then one day Damian falls asleep in the batmobile on the way back to the manor. just passes out. Bruce pulls over to take off his cloak and wrap Damian up in it, the Robin cape is thinner and its a cold night after all, doesnt want his kid getting cold

when he gets back to the Batcave, Bruce tells Alfred the data is in the Batmobile's computer and he will update him once he's gotten Damian in bed. he scoops the kid up and brings him back to his room

when he gets the kid in his bed, Bruce goes to take the cape back so he can tuck Damian in, only for Damian, fully asleep and unaware of what he is doing, to absolutely refuse to let go of the damn thing.
