Gwen’s “other” kicks.
A quick new addition to the Super Kicks collection in honor of Spider-Gwen’s debut tomorrow in Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse. Super excited (pun intended)!

Gwen’s “other” kicks.

It’s Friday, time for a Sym sketch dump
Working on Gwen’s pose in my “Yin Yang” WIP
Yin and Yang. A concept I’m working on as I get hyped for Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse next month!
Just Gwen
More Sym sketches. I’m pretty happy with this iteration of her, so I’m trying to commit it to muscle memory.
Costume concepts for Sym (with some expressions).
One for when she’s tinkering. The other is travel gear, which has some light armor plating. These are all in their pristine states, which they will not likely be in for most of her story.
I was inspired by the latest Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse trailer. One month to go!
Drummer Gwen
Sketch dump (oh, and Spider-Man is here)
“Green Goblin, Prowler. Other Spideys have cool archnemesises (nemesei?). And I’m stuck with the Bodega Bandit.”
Space Jam (a rough concept for a t-shirt)
Behind the mask
Trying to work out of my comfort zone by studying backgrounds, buildings, locations, and dudes. Featured here is a place called “Blindwatch” which is based on a cool lighthouse I saw a photo of, and a design for a character in my graphic novel, Aeden.
Getting ready for a night on the town
Workin on something mysterious as the dark side of the moon...
(if you’re picking up what I’m putting down)
It seems like at least once a month I get frustrated with how slow I am at sketching certain things (Gwen is a prime example). After thousands of posts, I would have thought I’d have gotten the hang of this by now and had more confidence when my stylus hits the screen.
Practice, practice, practice.
