Project: St. Peter's Church of Klippan

Architect(s): Sigurd Lewerentz

Place:  Klippan, Sweden

Date: 1963

Comment(s): Lewerentz; the master of sacred architecture, a genius of the poetics and a sensible hand with metaphors. This particular project is filled with superimposed metaphors tied to the Old and New Testament  - and the central column with two arms spread out like a crude interpretation of the cross. Exceptional!
