Watching Welcome to Waikiki s1 ep 11:

First, it's really annoying watching Donggu YELL AT Yoona for rejecting him. There's so many possibilities from relationship trauma to her simply not being attracted to him. I was already annoyed he said, "let's date," without waiting to find out how she felt. And I was more annoyed with how he's centering himself in the situation. "Oh it must be how I said it," "it must be something that you don't respect me," like bro have you ever thought for a single second about what she said in the first rejection? But now he's even being abusive so f u c k h i m.

But even more, it's infuriating to see all the comments on Viki about how she's a bad (??) person for turning him down? I don't have a lot of faith in humanity but that's still so depressing, that people think women have a moral obligation to end voluntary celibacy for any barely half-decent guy (not even whole-decent).

Also I don't give a flying rat's ass about "there were different standards." There's a reason grandmas and moms for generations have been pushing their daughters to focus on school over boys.
