Almost a year has passed since my “best friend” ended our friendship and I'm still not over it.

I’m in love with a bipolar, manic depressive with severe trust issues and his behavior towards me is beyond mind boggling.

My relationship with my mother seems to be deteriorating.

I spend most of my time alone to the point that even the loner in me is lonely.

Even in communities where I have something in common with most of the members, I’m often an outcast.

I only get two hours of sleep a night and my body refuses to let me get more while refusing to let me function on such little sleep.

Malachite Haven & Winter Solstice

I tried to refrain from doing this, really, I did. Honestly, I think I have gushed about these photos (and the lad in them) enough, but I feel like shouting my appreciation from the rooftops one last time; for old time’s sake. If I had to pick one thing and one thing alone about the Berry Sweet Community that makes me bubble with happiness, I would have to say it is this photo-set.

I cannot remember the year this was posted, but I want to say it was 2012? Splash of Color was celebrating another birthday and to celebrate, @berrysweetboutique was allowing people to send her their sims for some photo-booth fun with their favorite character. Of course, I wanted in on the action, but I was far too shy to say anything. After all, I was (and still am) a nobody in this community. Sure, back then I had my legacy, but I always felt out of place talking about it on Simblr because I felt like my writing and photos were mediocre in comparison to everyone else’s. Therefore, I rarely shamelessly self-promoted and whenever I did, I was always expecting someone to chastise me for doing so. So, it’s probably no surprise that when the opportunity arose to interact with Berry, the Berry -- mother of Berry Sweet Sims -- I opted to stay to myself and merely lurk from the shadows, much like the creepy baby owl I am. After all, I made a complete fool of myself the first time I spoke to Berry (imagine talking to someone about their story and not realizing that they’re the writer and you’ll know where I’m coming from). Anyway, fast forward to the last day of being able to submit sims. Berry made a posts about there being one more slot left. She posted a guideline of how to claim said slot, but all I saw was, “One more slot left,” so I disregarded everything else. “ME! PICK ME! I WANT IT! I WANT IT!” I was like, nineteen? Yeah... I think I was nineteen (with the social skills of a ten-year-old). After making the desperate plea, I went back, read the post about how to appropriate claim the last slot, and immediately wanted to crawl into the deepest, darkest hole out there. So, imagine my surprise when I got a message from the goddess herself telling me that she would reserve that spot for me if I wanted it as long as I could get my sims and their cc list to her before the following day. Man, she didn’t have to tell me twice. I got everything to her ASAP (and this is pretty much a big deal for someone who normally procrastinates). Of course, with the way my luck runs, some issues popped up and Honey’s file wasn’t cooperating with Berry’s game at all. Seriously, this stuff always happens at the worst, time, right? Well, as you can see, things were eventually sorted out and my baby got to take a picture with my favorite Splash character. I mean, look at how well their colors go together. ❤

Dearest Berry, I just want to conclude this trip down memory lane by saying thank you. Chances are, you will never know just how much this picture means to me or how happy it truly makes me. Honestly, I don’t think I will ever be able to properly describe how you and your stories have impacted my life. I have so much to thank you for, but for now I’ll just say this: thank you for creating such a loving and positive community that made this socially awkward outcast feel like she finally belonged. The world needs more people like you for you truly are an amazing person with a beautiful soul.

Flashback Friday! (Because it’s officially Friday, September 16th on my end of the globe.) Let’s go back to Valentine’s Day of 2013, shall we? At this point in time, my audience was dwindling, but I still did my best to interact with the few readers I had left. As a way of saying, “Thank you for sticking with me, even during the impromptu and extended breaks,” I created these exceptional cheesy valentines for the loves who still came around. Due to me being a lover of all things cheesy, it probably comes as no surprise that these pictures make me smile (especially Thunder’s because it’s 100% accurate and I’m secretly 12 at heart).

Oriole and Marigold have four children together: Orange, Tiger, Sunset, and Monarch. Thunder and Aria have five children together: Crescendo, Forte, Dahlia (best known as Viva), Coral, and Garnet. During their teen years, Orange and Forte become a couple and later on down the road end up having five little ones of their own: Canon, Melody, Kadence, Kadenza, and Fortissimo (the bump).

When your founder’s people are suppose to be dead, but you get the bright idea to create them in game anyway and end up falling in love with them. So, to cope with the guilt of being a sinister, sadistic, writer, you use them as expansion pack testers, which only makes you fall in love with them even more and feel even more guilty for killing them in the fashion you did.
