Apparently it’s the EUs turn.

First America tried to break the internet via net neutrality, now the EU has Article 13. Nobody is talking about it, and July 4th is fast approaching. This will hurt everybody who uses the internet, not just people in the EU!

Fanfiction, fanart, memes, let’s plays, walkthroughts, anything to do with copywrited materials will be screened. While protecting someone’s intellectual property rights is important, this is not the way to do it!

Even if you aren’t in the EU, spread this. Make it an issue, it’s not too late. If you are in he EU, get in contact with your representatives (or whatever the equivalent is!) tell them how you feel. As the public you have that sway! We saved it once guys and apparently we’re going to have to do it again!

In my opinion books are one of the most beautiful things mankind has created and I enjoy reading very much. But I often find myself in some sort of “reader’s block” equivalent to “writers block” (I start a new book that I have been dying to read and suddenly I can’t continue due to unknown reasons). And I am sure that I am not the only person who feels that way. I have been reading Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix for half a year now while simultaneously reading Oliver Twist for about four months and I cannot finish either of the books no matter how hard I try so I set those books aside because I don’t want to force myself into enjoying something which I am clearly not in the mood for. And then I bought two books last week: Thirteen Reasons Why and Hollow City - the sequel to Miss Peregrine’s Home for Perculiar Children. I finished Thirteen Reasons Why in two days and Miss Peregrine’s Home for Perculiar Children in three days. So I can’t help but ask myself what the helL is WrOng with mE????
