just woke up from a scary ass deltarune dream where I was presumably playing one of the remaining chapters. I got to a section where kris was badly hurt and tired in the hospital BUT I was in the light world and I remembered I forgot to check something out before I went into that chapters dark fountain
so I go to the top right area of the map where my dream added some vending machines to the game. Like it's to the right of alphys' apartment I think and there's more map to the right after that too but I didn't look. And kris is shambling I mean they are slow as fuck but I'm like YOU GOT THIS!! HANG IN THERE BUDDY!!!! we'll get some snackies in you yet.
So we get there and they're standing in front of the vending machines and I guess my dream invented another running gag with these things bc there's a bunch of trash all over it and I'm like ooh what are we gonna get this time. As if this is par for the course. every chapter when you interact with these vending machines they don't work so kris just picks a trash item at random. You normally get a flash of a choice that you don't get enough time to decide for just like what susie sometimes does. and then get text like (Miraculously, the packaging for the box of ice'ees spin off ramen falls off the vending machine and into your loving arms.) Bc it's SILLY this is a silly situation that I dragged poor tired and injured kris to because I forgot one little fucking gag and its just soooo important ooh look at me I'm the player. I get to decide fate which means these remains of chicken nuggets in a trashed container are more important than God and the prophecy. Whatever dude.
But this time. The choice remains on screen. I guess kris was like what the hell let them have this. I wiggle my fingers and go ooh don't mind if I do and proceed to spend a ridiculous amount of time considering which option to pick.
I don't notice kris slump over. I don't notice them trying not to collapse. I'm about to choose when I see them glancing back at me, and I realize they're not okay.
I click on one of the options just to end the interaction and get them back to the hospital, but that seems to trigger a scene. They start to speak for the first time, but it's not in a text box. It's big and white on the screen. Just for me I guess. They say you weren't supposed to actually pick one. The screen starts to warp and kris is shaking as a scary ass Toby fox creepy pasta guitar song starts playing, much like the weird route one but not the same. They say with shaking text *You were.... Taking your sweet time, huh...?
They're falling over a little bit but pushing themself back up multiple times throughout this, steadily getting closer to the ground. I realize the screen is warping in a way that looks like it's being sucked into the bottom right.
*You weren't supposed to... choose one!!
Im spamming whatever buttons I can press to free them from whatevers happening but nothing works. Each time I click one of the trash options kris shakes like they're compelled to obey. But they just can't grab it.

They reach into their chest. and dig.

They're lying on the ground. Kris and their text are not distorted but the rest of the game screen is completely warped. They start saying the name of some demon in very small text.
