Unfortunately, I have long fallen out of this fandom. I’m like nearly 3 seasons behind.

Also, I don’t really write fic any more in general. I’m a self-published author, so that’s taking pretty much all my creative energy.

How would people feel if I took down some of my fanfictions to change them into original stories for publication?

Be honest! I’m trying to gauge how people might feel. At the moment I’m looking at about 4 of them, so the majority would remain up. I wish I could leave them up AND change them into original short stories, but Amazon won’t allow it unless I completely rewrite every word.

So, thoughts and feelings?

They were pinned down, troopers on either side of them. They both hid in opposing doorways. He cocked his blaster when she flicked her wrist, her weapon extending into some kind of night stick. They turned at the same time, each facing the opposing group. He shot with precision, hitting each trooper as they appeared, taking minimal blaster fire in return. He turned back towards Emma as soon as the last trooper fell, expecting her to be drowning or at least struggling, instead finding her taking out each trooper just fine, using her blaster to slam them down, her body moving in a smooth, practiced dance. He lowered his weapon, choosing instead to observe her fluid movements. She elbowed the last trooper, sending it down to the ground with a thud. She blew out a breath, sending a stray lock of hair out of her face. She glanced up at him, her confusion telling him he probably looked absolutely dumbfounded. “What?” “There you are,” 0P-LS said, (thankfully) interrupting them and drawing their attention away from each other. “For two people blending in there sure are a lot of explosions.” “I thought I told you to stay on the ship,” Killian scolded. “You did,” the droid confirmed. “But I was bored-” a handful of stormtroopers run up behind the droid, throwing a timed explosive device. 0P-LS caught it with ease. “And you were in trouble.” Emma casually waved her blaster, signaling for 0P-LS to throw it. The droid waited until the last possible second before throwing the device and blowing up the troopers. Killian sighed, reaching up to pinch the bridge of his nose. If a blaster didn’t get him the stress surely would.

Emma is journeying to bargain with King George of her family’s neighbouring kingdom, when news comes that complicates her plans. The arrival of Killian Jones, childhood friend turned pirate and mercenary, gives her a solution - if she can convince him to take it. Enchanted Forest AU.

Written for the wonderful @seastarved​. Look, it didn’t take me months this time! There should be one chapter after this, and then probably an epilogue, but we’ll see how we go.

Rated A for Angst with a capital “A”.

Having made her announcement, Emma dismissed the council and waited in silence as they filed out of the room. She was initially surprised when Graham followed them, closing the door behind him, but after a moment’s thought she realised that he’d been watching her from more of a distance lately than he usually did. When she was in certain company, anyway. It appeared that her husband was protection enough that he felt comfortable waiting on the other side of the door.

She turned to Killian, who was leaning back in his chair and watching her with that same pleased expression that he wore whenever she addressed her advisors formally. She almost thought it could be admiration, but that couldn’t be right; he himself had been leading people for years. “I know that there are very few instances where I’d be planning my coronation with joy considering I’m succeeding my mother, but I never imagined feeling so ill about it.” Her nerves were making her feel nauseous, true, but that was nothing to how heartsore she was feeling. “Do you think I’m doing the right thing?”

Leaning forward, Killian turned his chair so that he sat directly facing her. “I think that whatever choice you make here can be the right one, as long as it’s handled correctly. You’re doing it for the right reasons, and with the full support of the court, and that’s what matters.”
