I made these brushes for CSP a while back, and I've used them a LOT, but I've decided to share the files on my ko-fi. :-)

A while back, I worked at a comic book store five days a week, so I had access to a lot of old Marvel and DC comics. I made these brushes from scanning the comics directly. My brush set has all 64 colors which were possible to print on newspaper at the time.

The names of the brushes are the same names that a colorist would use if they worked for Marvel or DC back in the day. For example, R is 100% red, Y2 is 25% yellow, Y3 B is 50% yellow and 100% blue.

For a long time I told myself I wouldn't share them because I thought I could find more work as a colorist if I had my own tools. Well, I still haven't found much work as a colorist, and I thought it would be nicer to share with other artists.

It's $20 or pay what you want for a zip folder with 64 brushes. Yippee!

so in the original TOME continuity, does Skeight (Doubling) just never come back after he leaves Rockoon? I always thought it was kind of sad they never reunited, especially since Rockoon started to improve himself after realizing what he had done.

This is a great question because I LOVE exploring and talking about these characters!

Please know that I never, ever stopped thinking about what exactly happens to them both after the events of TOME: Hard Reset.

I have a particular endgame in mind for both, building off of plot ideas Chris gave me for a theoretical season 3. I'm not ready to confirm whether or not their paths may ever cross again. I'll say that Rockoon *did* eventually send the DM he kept deleting and rewriting, but as it stands, Doubling and even his sister Splat don't see any reason to ever return to TOME. It might tragically stay unread forever.

Doubling's ultra-macho stubborness really frustrates me because he's a good person at heart who just couldn't fully process and be honest about his regrets. We last saw him and Rocky in places where they don't even dislike each other, but they both failed each other's friendship for different reasons and needed to be apart for each to grow.

Doubling is an introverted but functional young adult IRL and he'll be okay enough. He knows enough about and doesn't hate who he is.

Rockoon, on the other hand, is ALL regret. He's a miserable, paranoid teen who isn't sure if Archy is his only real friend or a guilt-trip charity case. Either way, Rockoon NEEDS to protect and empower him.
