Additionally- putting this up here so people see- I'm considering making a sideblog for propaganda either way for the characters being voted on (mostly likely reblogging any comments people have, as I can't know everything and will get busy). I'm considering a separate blog so people can simply avoid the extra if they don't want to see it.
Let's start with the Basics: What is a Hear Me Out?
A Hear Me Out is a character that, for whatever reason, is deemed Unfuckable by a large majority of the population. Often due to not being fully human, or not being humanoid enough. Occasionally, someone will be deemed a Hear Me Out due to their personality or actions- these will be far less often as they are less interesting.
For Submissions:
When Submitting A Character please say their name (full name if you can), what they are from (as well as what it is- game, movie, show, etc), and, if you can, a picture of them. AI Generated Pictures are Not allowed. If I accidentally post any AI slop please message me to let me know and correct or remove the post.
Rules for Submitting Characters:
1- Please make sure the humanoid characters are of legal age to consent (18 years old minimum required, 20 years old minimum preferred). Characters must have actually aged completely to adulthood in the passage of time. Not "frozen for 100 years and is technically-". I don't want to hear it.
2- Real animals in media focusing on humanoids are Not allowed. Monsters are allowed. Grey areas decided by me. Some examples on what I mean: In D&D/BG3, Hyenas are real genuine animals in our world and theirs, and therefore will not be allowed. Gnolls, born from dying Hyenas, are allowed as monsters. Gill, from Finding Nemo, is allowed as we are focusing on and connecting with fish in that film. Pegasus (a winged horse) from mythology would be a grey area I would not allow. A Displacer Beast from D&D/BG3 would be a grey area I do allow (grey due to being canonically a "beast" in that world).
3- We're going to assume that you can have communicate with every monster, no matter what their canonical intelligence/communication ability is.
4- Essentially, when submitting these character, ask if we can assume they can pass the Harkness test within the context of the world they inhabit. If it can't for whatever reason (like a mindless tentacles monster or something idk), ask if it's close enough to an animal that it'd be morally unjustifiable.
5- Please specify why they're a Hear Me Out if they are due to their personality. Ambessa Medarda from Arcane, for example, may be a "war criminal" and a "terrible mother", but she's also hot. Justify why her fuckablity is in question
6- No Harry Potter. At least until the terf queen is dead- and even then it's up to me to decide.
7- No Real People Please. I'm not having people debate if Markiplier is fuckable. Submit Simon from Iron Lung and make a damn good argument why it's even questionable smash.
When Voting on Characters:
1- Ask yourself, truly, "Am I desensitized? Is it normal to want to fuck Pyramid Head from Silent Hill? Is saying you would absolutely rail the alien man Garrus from Mass Effect weird? Or get railed by the very embodiment of pollution known as Hexxus from FernGully?" Hear Me Outs are about the majority populous, and Tumblr is very skewed.
2- Please try to unbiasedly vote. If you personally do want to fuck them you can still vote on if they're a HMO, but recognize if you're voting because you actually agree they're a hear me out, or if you're voting despite you're attraction- or if you're voting because you want them to be a HMO for any reason.
