Hi, internet, its me. Its been a while, I know. But I just figured I should check in and let people know this is still a thing. And what better way to do that than on Screenshot Saturday and with low quality animated gifs even! (is that allowed?!)

But anyway, surprise. There’s a combat system in the game, complete with random encounters! Please excuse the lazy placeholder background and enemy sprites ripped straight from actual Final Fantasy games, and instead focus on the adorable new protagonist design in battle sprite form.

But don’t worry, adventure game purists among you, there is still plenty of traditional gameplay to be found. Complete with pointing, clicking and even talking.

There are even menus and stat screens, complete with not so subtle nudity if you want it (I expect you will, given that the entire premise of this is that its pornographic in nature.) But on the offchance that’s not your thing, I’ll bury the last gif beneath the cut.

It goes without saying that everything I’m showing is very much a work in progress, but enjoy.

Screenshot Saturday? More Like Reveal The Entire Game Saturday.

Hi, hello, welcome to my new tumblr. I get what some of you are thinking, you’re thinking:

“What is this amazingly titled tumblr and why didn’t I think of this hamfisted attempt to turn the title of FFXIV: A Real Reborn into a pornographic parody title?”

And in that, you have answered your own question, my friend! It IS an awful porn parody titled game. But what kind and why? You might think that, inspired by the series from which this tumblr was born, the best choice of gameplay style for an adult romp through Eorzea would lie in the form of a japanese style RPG. And to that I say you’re probably right! But that’s not what this is.

What it IS, however, is a graphical point and click adventure parodying the locations, characters and events of Eorzea that we know and love - while at the same time being very VERY heavily inspired by Al Lowe’s legendary Leisure Suit Larry series. Except probably with more actual pornography, eventually, maybe. (We even have a disembodied narrator antagonising the main character.)

Its a pretty small crew behind this, as you can see based on the current background work being entirely modified screenshots, but we’re aiming for this to be an ongoing, continually supported, project - catering to as many people as possible. And that’s about the top and bottom of it really.

Hopefully at some point in the not too distant future we’ll have something more tangible to show the world beyond these few screenshots, but until then expect a steady stream of progress updates!
