Ball & Chain
That is the title for Book 8.
So many possibilities, so much excitement!!!
I can’t not love this.
this.
Who are you?
Epic.
Gah! So good.
I honestly think that crying over a book is one of the most prominent sign of compassion for humanity. You’re crying over someone who isn’t really there, doesn’t really exist, but you still feel for them as if you have known them your entire life.
Black Market Orchids: A Touch & Geaux Review
How do you do that voodoo that you do so well?
Three days later and I STILL haven't fully recovered from this book! It was amazing. Hands down the best in the series thus far. My emotions pretty much ran the gamut from ecstatic to wallowing in my own grief and then back again, and there was lots of cursing out loud! I wouldn't have had it any other way.
This is the book that Ty and Zane needed. It was crucial to the two of them as a couple and as individuals. There were times that I wanted to shake both of them, yell at them and smack them a few times. But there were more times that I just wanted to wrap them both up in hugs and never let go. The secrets started coming out and they were some real doozies. Heartbreaking, panic inducing, breath shortening secrets. But it was time. They needed to come out.
The character development in this book was off the charts! We got to see several different sides of Ty in this one and it was really wonderful to see behind the front he puts up for everyone. To see the Ty when there's no one to "perform" for. Zane grew as well. He didn't bottle up all his emotions when shit got rough, didn't hide behind the stone wall he erects. There was explosive anger, heartbreak, happiness, love, sadness and pure desolation. To me, of the two of them, Zane had the most growth. He finally started living for himself and that was one of the most beautiful things of all. "He had to learn to live. If he was a phoenix, he had to learn to fly on his own, or he'd keep smoldering in his own ashes"
We also had a lot of Team Sidewinder, which in my opinion, you can't have enough of. That group of guys are more than just a team, more than a unit...they are brothers. Maybe not by birth, but by blood, sweat and tears. I highly enjoyed watching them interact with one another. The scenes with them were funny, touching, badass and a glimpse into what it means to have real friends. I liked watching Zane find his place with the boys and forming friendships with them, especially Nick. That was some really great resolution. I loved watching Owen start to come around. Digger was a hoot as always. And my love for Kelly may know no bounds now.
Liam Bell was a new player on the scene. Ohhh how I want to hate him but damn do I love him. I'm keeping my eye on you.
This book taught us that the past has to be dealt with but it doesn't define us, that not all secrets remain hidden and that love really can overcome all. It also taught us what it means to believe in fate. It was a portrait of two people who love each other and all that comes with it.
Abi Roux has written a true masterpiece here. A good book entertains you for a few hours. A great book changes who you are, takes you on a journey, shakes you up and spits you out a better person on the other side. Touch & Geaux was a great book. It was a revelation. It was a classic. It's been three days and I still feel everything. I'm going to be feeling it for a long time to come. It was something solid to hold onto and it gave me direction when I lost.

Coming Fall 2015
The next round of voting will be Saturday. Riptide will have their own bribe coming soon, but due to this conversation I am also now promising a scene between Nick and Kelly (who are apparently the surprise pairing from T&G)...
Abi Roux making mornings better right there. DABWAHA will be the minions' bitch. Nick and Kelly...break me off a piece of that Kit Kat Bar!
YEAH BABY! Minions assemble! LOL
This is perfect!!!
