"newer fandoms barely last long at all😔, problem is that the people making the series are making it so it's only enticing for five minutes and then get you to watch the next thing!" Okay I hear you but when was the last time you contributed to a fandom?

Even if you're not an artist/writer/editor/maker of fandom content, when was the last time you left a comment on someone's work? Did you stop being in the fandom because it's not popular anymore or because you truly grew out of it? Fandoms thrive off community, you can't leave a fandom the second the canon content stops coming out then complain the fandom didn't last long.

And to be honest, most "dead" fandoms are still alive, they just have less active members. The fandom didn't die, it's just now run by genuine die-hard fans. It's okay to leave if you don't enjoy the content anymore but take a moment to asses why you think fandoms aren't "lasting". It's easy to point at showrunners and the companies making the content but I think looking at it from another point of view might be a good idea too
