Someone having a curse on them so that every time they sneeze, everyone who hears it now also has to sneeze. Magically forced sympathy sneezing.
And they have allergies, of course.

Here's something I've just discovered firsthand:
If you're wearing stays, and they're tight enough that you can't take a full deep breath, they can prevent you from sneezing or at least make it a lot harder because you can't take in quite enough air for it. So you'll be left hitching, trying to get a sneeze out, the tickle still there. Or else sneezing ineffectively and having to sneeze again and again because the first few weren't quite enough and your nose still itches.
Thinking about a certain character with wind powers who, in my mind, kicks up a little whirlwind every time she sneezes. And she absolutely hates the loss of dignity and composure, but she doesn't even try to stifle because stifling only makes a bigger whirlwind.
Women with flower names who are allergic to the flower they're named after. Rose is allergic to roses, Lily is allergic to lilies...
Why exactly does my brain come up with the most nonsensical snz scenarios when I'm half-awake in the middle of the night.
I've put a satchet of lavender in the box I keep my handkerchiefs in. Barely twelve hours later the scent on them is strong enough to last all day. Imagine the possibilities.
hi! What is in the homemade sneezing powder if i may ask
It's white pepper and vinegar powder. Works quite well.
Okay Tumblr refused to let me reply to the previous post but the link for the septum piercing thing is here
https://pin.it/4rRvjHcSR
So, found a random tutorial to make a fake septum piercing that you stick into your nose and while I have no desire for a septum piercing, real or fake, I decided to make one to see if it would make me sneeze. And it did, but only a couple times.
Then I took it out, dipped it in my homemade sneezing powder, and put it back in. And boy was THAT an explosion.
I had a dream last night that I went to some kind of museum and there was a section on fetishes? And a sub-section on sneeze fetishes which included common things for inducing?? Which included, along with a small bag of pepper, a feather, and a cotton swab (among other things) a small bottle of perfume which you were encouraged to spray in front of your face to try and make yourself sneeze???
A first-person video game where the player character has allergies. And stepping within a certain range of whatever they're allergic to causes them to start sneezing. Maybe getting a little close intersperses their dialogue with sneezes, and getting even closer makes it nothing but sneezes.
For those of you who are interested I am currently down with the sneeziest cold I have ever had. Usually I don't sneeze much with colds but I've been sneezing usually in doubles or triples at least once an hour the past few days. And yesterday morning I sneezed eleven times in one minute.
I really enjoy someone sneezing from being cold, especially cold and wet. Not sick or getting sick even, just purely from the cold. Give me a guy getting soaked in the freezing rain and letting out a string of tiny, pitiful sneezes, even an hour or more after he's come inside, wrapped himself in a blanket, and had a mug of cocoa.
I feel like we don't talk about feathers enough. Where is my feather snz content.
Someone who has a friend who always steals a bit of food off their plate. One day they've got some food, the other person is grabbing for it...and they feel a sneeze coming on, and intentionally sneeze all over the plate.
