Akihiro-Daken Needs A Swift Kick
Daken crouched soundlessly on the opposite roof, and waited for his father to open the door. The last time they’d met had been less than pleasant, for both of them , and Daken had gone to great plans to set this up. Leak the proper data to the proper idiot at the proper time, and wait.
Logan thought he was on the trail of a piece of technology that would be dangerous in the wrong hands. In reality, that piece of technology was still in it’s vault in a bank in Europe. That confrontation would come at a later date.
For now, he is twisting the knife just a little bit more, winding his father up, and playing a psychological long game. The door opened, the back door as foreseen, and the play was begun.
Logan stepped inside relatively cautiously, and avoided the first and very obvious tripwire with an slight shake of his head. Annoyed, perhaps, that this was a set-up, he traced the wire to a hole in the wall. Rather than walk around, he cut through the wall and tore out the device. It was a bomb, with adamantium shrapnel strapped around the explosive charge.
It reeked of inexperience.
