more au info -- allison argent didn’t die in 3b, she did get hurt but managed to pull through it. she made it through everything that came her way after and went to college to become a photographer, also taking classes for mechanical engineering and computer science when she had the time on her hands. even when still hunting, she managed to get through her classes early. now, allison is focused on her photography but still puts her mechanical engineering and computer science knowledge to good use when needed.

Alu had just stopped to buy herself something sweet. Fully aware of her surroundings, she couldn’t help herself. “Tha’s cute dear but you can stop stalking me. ‘m only passing through.” Alu smirked to the other that was trying to hide themselves. It was a horrible attempt really. Popping a chocolate truffle into her mouth, she gave a nod and kept on walking. Knowing full well the other was going to keep following her.

Allison wasn’t sure what this woman was, but she knew everyone in this town was different. Whether they were living there their whole lives, passing through, or had just moved in. She wasn’t quite positive if she had been stealthy enough while she was following the unfamiliar face. As soon as she was caught, if she had even been doing it well, it stunned her for a moment. Causing her stop in her tracks to look up at her. It didn’t do much good to hide now but she, for some reason, trailed behind.

Stood outside Maddy and Dick’s, John rapped his fist on the door as he glanced over to Katja. “D’ya think they’ll like that wine?  Isn’t it a wine for steak?” he suggested as he glanced down to the bottle. “ Well yeah but they can enjoy it another night. Rich told me how much he…they love it” she confirmed with a nod and a smile as she gave John’s arm a rub. “Oh ok if you’re sure. I mean hell you’re the one working in the bar.” he chuckled, not thinking more about it and looking a head to the door again. They hadn’t been on a double date like this in a long while seeming like one of them always had something crop up and it ending up John and the girls, Katja and the boys or most often Maddy and John. He didn’t mind it and understood their work required them to be away a lot but seemed too rare to not hang out as a group. 

“You lovebirds gonna open up?” he smirked, calling through the letter box. “ I know we’re a little early but do we need to take a couple laps” he joked, ignoring the rather irritable eyeroll from Katja. She seemed fine with his little comments about them before but seemed a little edgy now which was a little odd since her and Rich sometimes seemed to jokingly compete with how good their partners were. John always put it up as playful banter, which was surely all it was right? 

Looking to Katja, John wrapped an arm around her waist. “ Maybe we should come back in 10… I could stop by the store and get some chocolate for em too.” he suggested. “ No… They won’t be long…” Katja insisted quickly, giving him a quick look, feeling as if she could hear someone approach. “ Don’t take their sweet time to appreciate each other like us” she brushed a hand over his chest making John flush red for a moment before looking to the door.

Maddy hadn’t been able to pinpoint what was really wrong with Richard but she knew that he was hiding something from her, not that she wanted to bring it up right in that moment when they had company coming over. It seemed he loved to cause fights these days. He immediately came at her in a rude tone that made her upset but she ignored it. “What’s your problem?” Richard questioned in the same tone that irritated her. “Whatever it is, get over it. You’ll ruin the evening.” It wasn’t like she wasn’t used to him being a dick, it was literally his nickname. “Whatever you say, Dick.” Maddy shot back but gave him a sweet smile, then it was off to the kitchen to make sure all the snacks were prepared like she’d told him to do. Her eyes scanned the room for what she requested but it was bare. “Don’t lose your mind, just do it yourself.”

She was fast at work when she heard the knock on the front door. “Richard, please get the door!” The brunette yelled, a slight frustration in her voice. When she knew he was ignoring her on purpose she wiped her hands off and walked over to see where he was, “Thanks for all your help.” Maddy said to herself while making her way to the front door. She looked in the mirror to make sure she didn’t have the look of anger on her features. Putting on a front seemed to be all she did lately.

Once she finally got herself together, she opened the door with a smile gracing her face. Richard wasn’t far behind her. That fake grin on his face and Maddy tried not to roll her eyes in front of company. “Come in.” The man told them both, walking away from the door. “I have to finish the snacks since I’m doing it last minute. I thought they were already done.” She walked back to the kitchen and finished up the nachos she was famous for making. What could she say? They were the perfect snack.
