Before the incident, there was once an operator named Decian who utilized the Warframe known as Limbo. They were a peculiar pair, polar opposites in personality and yet nothing could separate or defeat them in battle. The pair only worked with each other, choosing to avoid teamwork with others at the time considering Limbo’s peculiar powers that he was still attempting to learn and process.
At the time of a mission where the stakes were high and Decian sought to fight for himself rather than heed Limbo’s warning ( as usual ), he bit off more than he could chew. It was Limbo who came to his immediate aid and, in realizing the dangers of their location considering they’d been spotted and the enemy was closing in, he took a leap of faith.
Literally.
Although unfamiliar with his abilities, Limbo scooped Decian up and made the jump. It would benefit them both to get away, to phase out of reality and make their grand escape. He knew the dangers, and yet betted on a risk. But when he passed through the rift he opened, Limbo and Decian were fused together and then rapidly torn apart piece by piece, molecule by molecule, until very little remained. It was painful.
In the space between void and reality, the creature drifted, until someone sought to bring them back. An individual who found a piece of Limbo and his partner sought to decode the mangled information, and it was Limbo’s conscience that broke the barrier to encourage them. He told them his story, of what happened.
And when said individual cracked the code and found the necessary pieces to revive Limbo, they used the help of a Nekros and vast technology to put him together. But when he emerged, he was no longer a Warframe that required an operator. The void had fused with his body too, insides glittering with stars and small constellations amidst a sea of black.
He had no longer been Limbo, but a Limbo Prime. Improved, with a masterful reign on his powers. And on that day, he took up the name Mir’anos and remained with Solaris and its people for aiding him in his return back from the dark.
