The old femme smiled, “Good. We are in agreement then. I shall give you a discount of 5 percent, as I know well how good your medical services are Robustus. After all I am no young thing anymore and if I were infirmed it would be you I’d trust most of all the medics I have ever known.” a pause to Argons question, “Oh nothing a little warm oil bath doesn’t fix. “Anyways I am ready to make the purchase if we have come to a decision.” He spoke, trusting that Robustus knew more than he did about constructing an anti-acid rain shield than he did.

A soft tsk from the old femme, “I assure you that Robustus here will take good care of you.” she informs him. She does up the bill with the 5% off and hands it over to Argon. “I trust you have at least half of the payment on you?” she asks.

Robustus looks over Argons’ shoulder at the bill and nods, “It’s a solid piece of equipment and this price is more than fair.” he says.

Robustus looks up from checking the device over at that jest from his new Master. A little cock of his head, then he returns to his duty to assure all is well with the device.

The old femme shuffles around Argon, humming softly as if in thought. After a full shuffle around the younger mech she makes her way toward the elder one, “So finding any issues?” she asks.

“None that I can see madam.” Robustus replies, he glances toward Argon. “It is as described and will fit the needs of the shop without taking up too much room.” a pause as he looks toward the femme, “Any chance of a little wiggle room on the price for an old friend?”

Argon nods. “Looks like a fine machine to me.” He replies. He mulls over the implications of the conversation for a moment. He assumes it’s alright but still feels like he owes it to him to look after him. He also wonders if perhaps she may be ill, considering her age. He was about to state something regarding Robustus’ comfort level but knew it was better to hold his glossa. Perhaps he was taking things too seriously.

“So that is the one then?“ He looks it over and then to Robustus to make sure he is steadfast in his judgement. He turns to the older femme and asks “Are you feeling alright?”

A laugh from the old femme as she stops at the machine they have come to look at and possibly purchase. “Indeed I have, not here is the best my son could find for you within the budget you sent along. It only has 10 vorns of use on it, so its well broken in and received regular maintenance.”

Robustus nods and starts looking it over for any flaws or other issues. Meanwhile the old femme approaches Argon, “You have the face of a mech that has questions… or concerns.” she says in a normal tone of voice.

Argon’s optics go wide for a moment and then he regains his composure. “I trust his judgement in appliances.” He replies. “ I have a lot on my mind in terms of responsibility. Nothing to worry about.” He assures her. He’s not sure if she gathers what he means but he hopes that she understand that he wants to be a good master for Robustus. It’s part of what he’s mulling over, how to make him feel cared for but not pressured in any way. It would be an awkward thing to state outright.

Argon nods, knowing he hasn’t anything to hide. He wonders what she thinks of him but perhaps it would be too early to tell considering he hasn’t known her for longer than ten kliks.

“I guess that will keep me on my pedes.” Argon comments with a hint of jest. He tries to hide his softer feelings under a mask of bravado but his thoughts drift to how he hopes he can provide a good home for Robustus. He hadn’t even kissed the mech yet, but he wanted to. He tries to snap back into his focus as getting lost in these thoughts wasn’t conducive to the task at hand. He also did not want to seem aloof.

Robustus smiles back, shifting his frame down to accept a hug the femme offers him since she’s smaller than he is by a few heads. “Good to see you too madam.” he replies, his hug much more reserved due to her age. She looked so utterly fragile. “This is my new owner, Argon. He is the one that requires the device.”

Her old golden optics look Argon up and down with a gaze that says she’s assessing him, then a light smile is given. “Welcome Argon to our humble shop. Do come inside, the device awaits your inspection.”

“Hello. I’m Argon it’s nice to meet you.” Argon said holding up a servo to greet her with. He smiles to her as he enters the shop. He wonders for a bit how she knows Robustus and how long they have known one another. He deduces it must have been a long time if she feels comfortable to hug him.

It is indeed not a far drive as they enter a small city roughly to the north of the shop. Soon enough they pull up to a building where the medic transforms back to his bipedal form. “We’re here.” he announces.
