Minors should not follow nor interact with this blog as there may be NSFW, medical, or otherwise mature content not suitable for you. Such content will be tagged.
Anonymous asks are okay, just keep it respectful. However, I reserve the right to ignore magic anons.
Please no godmoding (unless we discuss it specifically).
After previous encounters with mutuals that went badly I won't necessarily reach out to you if you follow which is why I am encouraging asks and DM conversations.
I promise that I will get to you as soon I see any asks or DMs sent to me (mind you tumblr is horrid about who sends DMs so send an ask to notify I should look for a DM).
I want to be as approachable as I can. Do not feel intimidated by my writing, my rules, or even by the muse. Trust that we probably share some sort of anxiety level with newfound potential rp partners.
My asks and DMs are open if you want to inquire about anything regarding the muse, a current role play we are engaging in, talk about ideas for a scene, plot you want to run by me, or just to say hello. If we are doing medical RP, please use DMs or the rp thread itself to communicate what Rob would find in scans, visually, or by feel.
This blog and blamethequints are my side roleplay blogs attached to my main personal blog zypherion.

Robustus is the main muse. Any interns (currently: High Alert, Vitalink and Invictus) are added to a scene for medical scenarios. OC name mentions outside of medical scenarios are also used as necessary (primarily Shark, Tracer, and Barracuda. Others that may be mentioned are Heirophants Emberflare and Exalorian. Newly added: fellow medic Sprocket and Pixel the cybercat). Rob may not be fully portrayed as the profile below. I hope you find that Rob is /not/ a self-insert of any sort and my medical portrayals are not based off any sort of RL experience outside of front office medical schooling that didn't pan out.
Age: 20+ years RPing should give you a hint. I do not comply with any Age DNIs for myself for a reason. Who I choose to RP with depends on my comfort level when I read your 'about the muse' plus rules and other info you provide on your blog. If I don't like what I see, then I simply move on. I expect the same from anyone seeing this blog or my other ones. - Zypherion
The below the cut is an edited profile (original version made in 2012).
Name: Robustus
Nicknames: Rob, Robbie, Pops
Human AU name: Doctor Robert Hugh Sterling
Gender: Male / Mech
Faction: Independent / Neutral
Function: Medic
Specialties: neural net, spark injuries, carrier/sparkling care
"Through my skills shall you find healing."
Note: This mech was trained at an early age to be a medic and since then has kept up with the medical advances. Often seeking out other medics as well as taking any classes to remain up to date. There is nothing he cannot fix, no matter the chassis design. Familiar with all worker and military class designs, both past and present. Willing to listen to a patient as they talk about what happened to them and may offer advice if he thinks that they need it. In his own way, he tries to treat the whole being of a patient rather than just their physical wounds. Takes his medical oaths very seriously and finds it difficult to bring harm to others. Respect and trust must be earned, but once you have them, he will be your most loyal ally and a good friend. Earning those, however, will take time and earnest dedication. Alternate mode is that of a hovertruck with a long, wide bed to carry patients upon. When not doing repairs you may find him singing or letting off stress in other ways.
Background
Personality: Interest in what the patient has to say before during and after repairs is the key to proper care. Patience and understanding are paramount for this medic. Bravely will go out during battles to retrieve the injured, which can put him in jeopardy. For him, knowledge is power, so will go seeking it. Will utilize a forcefield in both modes to protect himself and his patient. Doesn't believe in injuring others as it goes against his medical oaths. Susceptible to stress that comes from his job. Respect will be given to those that respect him. Trust will be earned and given out in return. Great listener and good at soothing fears or even giving out advice. Repair is not just about the physical wounds, but also the mental and emotional scarring that occurs as well. It is unthinkable to him to leave an injured warrior behind. Understands the need to better oneself. He enjoys the company of other medics the most as they all work so closely together and depend on each other to piece back together shattered bodies. Always willing to learn new things when it comes to the medical profession. He will sometimes go out of his way to find out what others are up to medically so that he can better serve a patients' repair needs. To him there is honor among medics and to deny a fellow healer new medical techniques is breaking your medical oaths. To pass the time when there is no repairs he may be heard singing or reading. A competent and dependable medical professional. Stands behind his medical oaths. Calming forcefulness usually wins out over hurt warriors. Considered to be one of the best of the medics on the planet. Soft spoken yet strong-willed. Listens to the woes of others as they lay on the table. Sometimes comes up with inventive answers or at least is the voice of reason.
History: His history is not common knowledge; in fact, you would be lucky to find any records about this mysterious healer. If you happen to ask him about his past, he will either avoid it or be blunt about it. He came from a small city that overtaken by Crystal City. He trained as a medic because he wanted to help those who were injured just as his creators did before him. He graduated top of his class. When the war began, he went to Crystal City and worked there for a time as a medic. Afterward, he moved on to bring his medical care to anyone who needed it via a portable medical tent. Crystal City holds his medical services on record (i. e. who he repaired, how he repaired them, patient survival rate, reviews on performance). To actually find where he was created and when, however would prove extremely difficult, but not impossible. If one does find it thought it will give a date about one eon before the First Great War and a location as Mecha which was a small city near Crystal City. Mecha no longer stands today. It is further noted that he had been seen fetching injured warriors in the midst of a battle as well as after the battle when the fallen had been left behind for one reason or another. Other medics in Crystal City would back these noted actions up as well as give their accounts of his medical performance.
Additional Info:
Current location is New Hope Clinic, which is an older building near the old shuttle pad that used to serve Iacon, Crystal City, and Polyhex inclusive. It is the culmination of his life's focus. He takes in interns from the medical academy whenever there is need. He enjoys helping the younger generation of medics show off and hone their own skills. He will correct when necessary and offer insight on a specialty an intern may wish to seek if he sees that potential in them.
Robustus has no living family and is, in his words, 'married to his work'. He did love once when he was a much younger mech. After her loss he buried himself back into his work. At his age he is realizing his chance of a family is slipping away faster than he realized.
He is from a long line of medics going back to the 13 Primes. A golden visor hides his true optic color, which are silver. Such a color is extremely rare and tied directly to his family lineage. He has to adjust his attitude toward interface preference over time due to the femme population altering during the civil wars. He'll try most anything at least once. He's very much the type to give you everything he's got in his repertoire with all he has in himself. He can be unflappable, considerate, patient, kind, caring, understanding, and tolerant. He doesn't get angry overly easy, nor is he prone to outright violence.
send me ‘ kisses ‘ and i’ll generate a number for how / where my muse kisses yours
a lot of laughing, little kisses across the face
Just starts leaving little warm electrical pulse "kisses" along the elder mech's face after laughing at some joke Robustus says. But catches himself and pulls away, flustering.
Normally Robustus didn't tell jokes, but when he hears a really good one that got him laughing, he's willing to share it. He is taken by surprise when the other mech presses his face mask against his face a few times, leaving a pleasant electrical warmth behind. The noticeable fluster only adds to the moment. Robustus takes a few moments to recenter himself as he smiles reassuringly at the fellow medic.
"No need to apologize. It was unexpected, but certainly not unwanted." he admits.
"If there's one thing you learn to develop in this business, it's a thick skin." from Robustus (figured this would work for a starter unless you are planning something?)
[I was just gonna send in an ask so this works too! lol]
@goateeofgood
"Agreed. A doctor is often seeing patients when at their worst, after all."
"With your planet gone even your status as a medic will change given time Mega Ambler." Robustus points out. "Eventually they will all realize taking out a medic is against their best interests. For someone like me we are treated as sacrosanct, which is why our presence is typically left alone by either side of the war. However I will note accidents do happen."
He considers the distinction of Metal Cardbot versus Wild Cardbot briefly.
"I suspect it wasn't an ideological difference so much as a cultural one that caused a fissure? do correct me if I am wrong." he says.
Ah, perhaps it had something to do with the Primus religion....?
Interesting....
"Cultural, some ideological. The largest factor is that up until recent events, Wild Cardbots were considered the most dangerous foes to Metal Cardbots. Due to the fact that upon contact, a pathogen known as the Beast Virus would pass from Wild Cardbot to Metal Cardbot. This pathogen drives infected units into extreme aggression and was considered almost universally fatal...."
"We have a vaccine now, to keep something like that from happening to bots. But there is more going on with the pathogen than was thought in the past....it's an ever evolving situation at the moment."
"Deemed too important or valuable to be interfered with is the definition of sacrosanct." Robustus explains.
Hearing the explanation for the divide between the two factions of Cardbot makes sense.
Robustus hums in thought, "I understand. I often have to give viral updates to Cybertronians. It would track your species has viruses as well. Perhaps your viral experts and our own can work together to help with that virus to help control further outbreak of it. I would hate to think what would happen if a infected came into contact with a Cybertronian."
Robustus got in touch with his shuttle mech friend Lift Off to see if he was available for trip from Cybertron to Earth. He heard back the following day cycle late at night that his availability worked in tandem with a date the medic had in mind for the trip.
He comms up Herbie to notify him of the date availability and pick up time window. They hash it out between them and Rob puts in for his long awaited vacation time. The clinic could run with Sprocket in charge with the interns assisting easily enough. The other full medic took a little convincing, but once he heard Rob had never had a day off, he was more amiable.
Standing at the abandoned shuttle pad not far from the clinic, Robustus waits for the arrival of Herbie and Lift Off both.

A soft hum of acknowledgement from Robustus. "Seems we keep finding similarities with the variation around something unique to our species. "If it happens, all the better for both our kinds I say." Robustus remarks, then a slight nod. "That is correct. They fight against the Autobots who are much more agreeable typically."
He takes the medical diagram down and puts up the two emblems of the two factions. Pointing to each as he speaks. "This sharper looking one is Decepticon. The other is Autobot. You may want to share this information with your fellow Cardbots. Would there be a way to give you that safely? Perhaps a device similar to this?" Robustus inquires.
"The symbols and designations were created when the armies formed up. I will note we do have dimorphism however. For example, there are those that can fly in the mode I am not called the root mode and can fly in alternate mode." Robustus explains.
"Any resemblance that I may have would be frame only, especially when compared with other medic types. We tend to be stronger throughout our frames, have larger and more dexterous hands, have the right amount of intelligence, and possess a great deal of dedication." he switches his datapad off as he says, "The medical cross just makes sure I am recognized as a medic. It keeps me out of harms way in battlefields I happen across."
Everything fell into place easily. Robustus made his arrangements, and Herbie made his. Finally cashing in on having some sorely needed time off. Taking advantage of the relatively quiet period that was happening. His comrades were supportive and encouraging of the bug taking the trip with his partner, with a few even joking it'd be a great chance to make a sparkling or two. The racer's flustered, sputtering protests to such an idea just made them laugh all the harder.
The racer makes sure to arrive to the shuttle pad with time to spare, transforming and continuing on his pedes once he saw the elder mech waiting.
The medic has been searching the dark starlit sky as well as the immediate area facing toward Iacon interchangeably for a short while. The sound of Herbie's engine becomes obvious as he approaches and soon is by the medics' side.
"Evening Herbie. I trust the travel was pleasant." Robustus says with a smile. "Lift Off should arrive relatively soon. You excited for a private shuttle ride?"
A smile is given to the racer. "Same to be honest. I look forward to meeting your human friend. We can talk about who to visit first if you like too. The other option is you tell her that she can be picked up by one of the fliers at the base we will be going to and all we'd need is a location and time for pick up." Robustus states.
"Best option would probably be to pick her up and have her meet us at a base, I think. She's really the only person I specifically want to see, and I know she'd get a kick out of seeing another Autobot base."
Herbie nods, feeling that was the most efficient plan.
Robustus inclines his head and puts a hand on the racers' shoulder. "Glad you approve of the idea. We can call your friend up once we are on Earth and get a time and location for a meet up." he states.
From above them the sound of shuttle engines begin to come into sharper focus until a orange hued one comes into view.
"There's our ride." Rob announces with a smile as he withdraws his hand.
The shuttle positions itself over the shuttle pad and comes down for a landing with exacting precision. The landing gear takes on the weight and a onboard ramp unfolds down to the ground.
"Good evening Robustus and friend." comes the cheery greeting from the shuttle itself.
"A good evening to you as well Lift Off." the medic replies, "Thank you for doing this for us."
"No problem at all my friend. Now then please board and get seated. I know you are eager to arrive at your destination Rob." the shuttle requests.
A good night's recharge is exactly what is needed for the day ahead in the morning. As usual Robustus awakes first. He smiles at the sleeping form of Kilonova at his side. He'll stroke her face gently once with a hand, press a soft kiss to her forehelm, then await for the sleeping Predacon to awaken on her own.
He smiles at the praise given to the form he chose to take on for them. He may not smell of anything, but he is as solid as they are plus just a bit taller and heavier looking.
Robustus nods his head toward the observation about the learning curve to fly. "I have plenty of patience to learn how to fly first, then we can work on the dance." he assures softly, "As for the energy consumption its more than the human one due to the size. We aren't too far from the base so it's an easy trip there if I run low and need energon."
He issues a deep rumbling sound from his chest and gives one of their heads a nuzzle. "I am happy you approve of my surprise." Rob says.
Kilonova answers Rob's rumble with a higher purr of their own.
[Very well. I like your enthusiasm.] She playfully flicks her tails. [Let's start with you getting used to this form just being on the ground first though,] she suggests, continuing to closely study him without hesitation, circling around him, nuzzling and brushing against his sides, his wings, even shamelessly peeking underneath to check out his underbelly and his clawed paws.
Robustus delights in hearing that purr. It is one of his favorite things about Kilonova. He smiles with his optics more than his mouth at the tail flicks and how she checks over every bit of his holographic dragon form. Another lower rumble at each nuzzle or brush that he gains.
"A good idea." he agrees amiably.
Shifting his wings out a bit from his side experimentally then slowly letting them unfold all the way out and up slightly.
"Do you think I could fly with these? I wasn't sure on proportion. But I did my best based off yourself and any skeleton studies I could find."
He idly flexes the toes on his feet, letting the claws dig into the soil slightly. He looks strong where he should be, it's obvious he took just enough time with this form. He slowly shifts his tail behind him and curls his neck to observe her examination. Eventually he moves the quardrapedal frame about, moving smoothly and with purpose. He even moves his wings a bit, just getting a feel of range of motion within them. The center of gravity is different, but he adjusts well enough as he circles around with her.
He easily pulls her up to a standing position and smiles as she turns around to lean over the desk and spread her legs. He can smell how aroused she is as her panel opens to expose her valve.
"Very well then." Robustus says as he gets up and gently pushes her down into the desk with just his hands. His spike teases against her valve all the way up to her node, the slow slide of it coating it with her slick as well as rubbing against her node.
He'll drab it out for a couple minutes just to listen to her react. Then with a slow drag back he draws his spike head to her entrance then gradually presses into her.
As those skillful servos pinned her down, Mourningstar felt so relaxed, as if getting ready for a sensual massage. Her spinal strut arched from the teasing, mewling wantonly between letting her wet valve lips lubricate Robustus' massive spike. A soft squeak escaped her dermas, followed by more needy whimpers once her anterior node was given some attention, fleeting, but enough to make her wriggle her hips and try to follow the friction.
"AaaaaaaAAAaahhhh...!~" A long, drawled groan fell from her intake as her jaw dropped from the slow stretch of her calipers, reveling in how every inch of Robustus massaged the nodes lining her valve as the warm lining undulated to suck him in deeper greedily.
An approving rumble rolls out of the medics' chest as she squirms and arches. Her little sounds of pleasure pure music to his audios.
"Such a good femme." he remarks lowly as he continues the slow purposeful press into her spike hungry valve.
He knows the texturing of his spike is doing most of the work for him, rubbing her internal sensory nodes. His girth certainly didn't hurt matters either.
"Going to make sure you are well satisfied with a slow pace my dear. How's that sound hm?" he asks.
Robustus relaxes his arms to either side and watches her intently. It fascinates him how much she could take and how her body adapted to what was within her.
He openly groans in pleasure as she sucks his spike while bobbing along the length. She was very good at it. He had taken himself pretty close to the edge before she made her appearance. It doesn't take much more stimulation for him to overload with a moan of "Frag yes." He unloads transfluid deep into her throat. "Good femme." he rumbles in approval.
Silken calipers undulated and constricted as Robustus overloaded into her suckling intake, swallowing every drop she could get until the heavy stream of transfluid stopped. Venting short and shallow puffs once she released his spike from her intake, her engine purring audibly as she hummed in satisfaction to have her fuel tank topped off.
"Thank yooou...~" Mourningstar just about slurred once she stabilized her venting, planting a kiss atop of the tip of Robustus' spike in gratitude.
Robustus smiles down at her, his spike still erect after that overload. "Do you believe you are done with me then my dear?" he asks curiously. He reaches down to stroke his hands against her helm down to her face before he tips her face up just a hint more so he can look into her optics. "I can overload a few more times easily if you needed more." he points out.
"Want more..." Mourningstar murmured, giving the fully pressurized spike a long lick up the underside of the shaft.
Her slender limbs move at a slothful pace as she climbed on top of Robustus, mounting him with her thighs spread and her puffy valve lips encasing his length as she canted her hips back and forth.
"Is this how you'd like me, Robustus?" She inquired, gazing down at him through her lustful haze, still wiggling her hips and suppressing a whimper at how her swollen anterior node started to grind against his spike's tip.
Robustus shivers to the lick against his spike then watches her as she moves to take his spike. His hands come to rest against her hips as she moves over his lap.
"Just like that Mournie. You control the pace, the angle, everything. Make use of me as if I am nothing more than your personal toy." the medic instructs.
Her being able to still look at him thanks to her unique physiology is interesting to say the least. "Show me how much you want this." he says.
Robustus rumbles again deep in his chest as she continues to rub at his lower body while laving his spike with attentive kisses then taking it into her intake again to swallow it down.
"Mmm you could but that would leave you wanting would it not Mournie." he moans out. "Surely you would like more than to suck spike hm?"
Mourningstar's intake rumbled around the length of Robustus' spike when she let out a whimper, her frame shuddering with anticipation at the further coaxing from the medic. Slowly, the femme pulled back to let the spike fall from her wet dermas, venting short and shallow puffs of pink steam between words.
"I would... Please...! I want to feel you pin me down, bent over this desk-- I need you to fill me just like before," She entreated, blushing harder yet she kept pushing herself to keep using her words. "I'd even sit on your lap and try not to interrupt anything if it means I can just have you in my valve."
He smiles at her as she whimpers yet again and visibly shivers. A soft groan as her intake slides his spike free, allowing the air in the room and her exvents to tickle against the wetness of it.
"Mmm you leave me in a dilemma of two wonderful choices." Robustus points out in a near bass rumble.
Robustus locks gaze with her optics a few moments, "But a good femme gets what she wants so first a ride, facing your back toward me, then you get bent over the desk."
His leans over just a bit and offers his hands to assist her up from her knelt position between his legs.
Every tendril wriggling out of her frame started wagging with palpable glee from being referred to as a "good femme", and with a somewhat quaking servo, accepted his assistance to get out from under Robustus' desk.
"Please... Don't hold back, Robustus," She breathily requested as she steadied her servos flat atop of the desk, bending over it with her long legs spread wide apart, modesty panel disengaged to present her dampened valve.
"Hold me down as much as you want, I just want you all the way in me.~" The hybrid purred, cooling fans whirring in anticipation.
A soft hum from the medic as he listens to Haybail. "An old poster that obviously encouraged her to test herself to find she has a specialness to her frame. Nothing wrong with that as it gives her something to focus upon outside of learning whatever you wish to teach her." Robustus mentions.
A pause to take in the other's reaction to the news of another sparkling. His smile gets just a little bigger.
"I'll let them know about her and if I could give the creators your comm that would expedite the meeting. The carrier has an unusual flight alt so it would be easy for her to fly here." Rob explains.
'I dread the day she actually meets him,' Haybail muttered before scoffing a laugh as he put out his cigar in his palm before taking the remainder of it into his subspace. Possibly where he puts all of the stubs. 'She's gonna eat him alive.' A pause. 'He is alive, right? I've heard different things about him. One minute he's a sniper, the next he's a scout. Which is it?'
'...Sure...' Haybail was unsure about becoming so well known. If he had a chance, he'd rather stick to the shadows, but that wasn't fair to Sprite. Even if Optimus was a friend, not every Autobot was going to forgive.
The medic laughs at how Haybail phrases that dread.
"Oh he's alive all right. I don't know the details of what he does, I just know a mech that knows him is all." he replies.
He pauses a long moment, perhaps hearing a little hesitance to that 'sure' response.
"I only offer that so you can be on your home turf and make your rules for your homestead known. Tracer is a sweetheart of a femme and from what I hear their base has been housing the Seacons lately. Apparently, they have been wooing their base gestalt." Robustus remarks. "So you don't need to be concerned she'll treat you wrong because you wear that emblem."
He reaches down to stroke his hands against her helm down to her face before he tips her face up just a hint more so he can look into her optics. @goateeofgood
"Agreed. A doctor is often seeing patients when at their worst, after all."
A soft hum of acknowledgement from Robustus. "Seems we keep finding similarities with the variation around something unique to our species. I do wonder something however." he states as he looks Mega Ambler in the optic. "Do you think the two species could be compatible reproductively? If we are, it would help both our races out in the long run."
The other medic's questioning makes the doctor pause and give a thoughtful hum. Staring back at Robustus as he did so.
"......I'd say it's possible? Our physiology is similar enough that Cybertronians and Cardbots can definitely interface. At the very least. As for reproduction....perhaps what your species has, can make up for what mine lacks...?"
The possibilities were truly tantalizing......fascinating, really!
"...but the only way to know that for sure.... would be for a pair to try and produce offspring."
"The similarities is the key here, I agree on that much. The pairing off though will occur as it should I believe. No need to rush into anything when we all are still learning about each other. So long as your people steer clear of the Decepticons you all should be fine." Robustus notes.
