as a fan of mcyt people since like 2014 and knowing how the internet environment was for mcyt creators back then, it is so heartwarming to see most of the OG's step out of their comfort zone and not have to be kid-friendly 24/7 since the culture surrounding minecraft has grown from "Ooh-A-Kiddie-Game-So-The-Content-Creators-Should-Be-Kiddie-Friendly" to "Minecraft-Isn't-Only-A-Kid's-Game-Anymore-So-You-Guys-Are-Allowed-To-Swear-Now". and also with said coming out of their comfort zone, we now have multiple content creators - both old and new - come out as part of the LGBTQ+ community and heck, HAVE AN ENTIRE MINECRAFT EVENT DEVOTED TO A CHARITY FOR LGBTQ+ KIDS AND DUDES BELIEVE ME, THIS WOULD'VE BEEN UNTHINKABLE BACK THEN. so um yea the current minecraft environment makes me so goddamn happy and it makes me glad to see how far we've come.
