THANKU, I really just recommend studying the shapes of their bodies
I spend a lot of time looking at wolverine media and pictures and over time you can naturally get a feel for some shapes, definitely keep playing with it in your style aswell, wolverines are gluttonous creatures so naturally I like to play with some rounder shapes to capture their fat, and as I mainly draw my fursona he is chunky too lol
You can see in my faces I like to give the cheeks a more rounded look and also little ears of course, another favorite detail of mine is the thick lips the have under their bottom canine teeth, I like to include it in my style to put some emphasis on it and to just make the art feel more obvious wolverine shaped, another thing about their mouths is that their canine teeth are very thick and fat!! Their front teeth are also very skinny and long looking! So if you mainly draw canines like a typical furry I think it’s definitely an investment to learn some bone anatomy aswell just a bit, I definitely think it’s important aspects to some maw detail, pictures below:
And one last thing that I will also give a tip on is limbs!! Again if you’re a typical furry and are only used to drawing a standard canine, I definitely recommend learning a more variety of animal anatomy if you wanna draw wolverines!
But just a quick general shape for the limbs, triangles! Wolverine limbs are pretty fat and wide at the shoulders and buttocks and kinda slope down into a triangle point at the bottom/feet, another important thing is that wolverine’s also got long flat feet! Cant forget it! It’s their snow shoes since they are snow animals :) and on the topic of feet wolverines also have unique shaped paw pads!
Pictures below, I will also show a comparison of wolverine limbs to a standard wolf:
Notice how much taller a wolf is compared to a wolverine, wolverines a much shorter and compact creature especially in the rear, as their butts tend to be angled more to the ground lol, but something I just wanted to point out! As someone who used to primarily draw canines some of my first wolverine drawings had canine limbs which is something now I try to avoid!
