been thinking more and more about the bad boy / good girl (or whatever gender combination suits your fancy) romance trope and why it kinda peaks at 80% effectiveness for me

the good girl may love the bad boy, but she’s always going to be just a little bit disappointed in him. he’s always going to feel not quite good enough. he’ll always have more to do, and she’ll always know it

I want a dynamic where they love each other’s darkness. she’s covered in blood and he sees sunshine. he’s just murdered ten people, and she feels safer than ever before. good acts and terrible acts are followed by a sincere “you’re doing amazing sweetie 💕”

they see and love each other’s light but equally their darkness. they’d burn the whole world down to see the other smile, and be thanked for it. no insecurities and private resentments. if the bad boy wants to do better, fine! but the good girl will love him just the same.

What new dragons are you most excited to see in both House of the Dragon and Rise of the Dragon?

I'm can't say I'm particularly eager for any one dragon, although I do describe Sunfyre as the most beautiful dragon that anyone has ever seen. He looks like he's not a real dragon, but a dragon made of gold. His scales and armor are bright gold, like a flash in the sun. So let's try to capture that when we see him on-screen.
