Okay, but as someone who's played the otome games, including All Star After Secret... And as someone who loves Reiji with all their heart... Itoshiki Hito E makes my heart ache, but I love it at the same time. It's so beautiful and a very sweet song... but it makes me remember how much the poor thing has gone through, and how much pain he hides. I love Itoshiki Hito E because it really delves into a part of his character that isn't delved into often.

Yes definitely, I totally agree with you. I havent played the visual novels myself (not because I dont desperately want to, but because reading them in Japanese would take me too long although I am tempted) but I do certainly know that Reiji has been through so much. Althoguh I don’t dislike any, Reiji’s songs can sometimes be kind of hit or miss for me. Itoshiki no Hito E as you said definitely give so much insight into him that we don’t really get to see outside of the games.

I really love when songs are the complete opposite of what you expect from a character, and at least based on the musical parts of his other songs Itoshiki Hito E has always been really intriguing to me.

Reiji is so insecure and he deserves so much love, Itoshiki no Hito E was good live as well but its so nice to listen to.
