Maddie shook her head with a small chuckle over at her cousin. “Don’t say that too loudly, otherwise the town would literally run you down.” She chuckled before shaking her head. “I can’t believe you’re trying to set me up with someone.” Maddie shook her head once more. She raised an eyebrow over at Aria. “Did you or did you not take photos of me?”

Aria looked at her cousin. “Why not? Unless you’re asexual and don’t want to hook up with anyone. In that case I apologize.” She offered Madeline a soft smile. Letting the agony drag on a bit more, the girl stayed quiet for few more moments before finally speaking out. “Well duuuh. I take pictures of everything and everyone. You’re no exception.” She smiled. “And no, I won’t erase no matter what you say.”

“We got really really lucky in the parents department.” Aria chuckled softly, she couldn’t have asked for better people to be her parents. Sure they both had flaws but as parents they never once disappointed her. “Yes, my hero. Or do I need to get another mug and shirt that says best dad ever for you to believe me? The ones I got you years ago must be somewhere in the house as well.” Aria smiled up at her father. “It’s a good thing we aren’t really asking for permission.” She chuckled nudging her father. “Just kidding. But also remember Mom was around my age when you two met so...” She smirked. “Or you consider yourself too handsome to be called grandad?”

Aria raised a brow at his stuttered reply wondering what could be behind it trying to tame her smirk if her suspicions were correct. “I’m great, thanks for asking. My parents are good too, still wishing they could go to New Orleans but that will never change. But you’re not really asking me about my parents, are you?” She questioned directly.

he narrowed his eyes in suspicion, the look on her face making him question her as she spoke. when she revealed his book he pursed his lips and scrunched up his nose, though his expression clearly showed his amusement. “did you purposely hide it from me? do you enjoy my stress?” jethro only teased, taking the book from her hand and giving a slow shakke of his head. “you do know that i’m going to have to get you back for this, right?”

“Now why would I ever do that? I can’t believe you’d accuse me of something like that, I’m wounded.” Aria pursed her lips placing her hand over her heart as if she was really as hurt as she pretended to be. “Technically, it’s not really something you must do but I know you’ll enjoy getting back at me.” She chuckled playing her hands on her hips. “I hope you’re aware that if you touch my camera to hide from me, you’re a dead man.” She threatened playfully though anyone who knew the brunette knew not to mess with her cameras.

He let out a sigh as his sister hugged him. “I’ll definitely think about it, Sis.” He assured her before letting her go. “Hey, that won’t ever happen.” He pointed at her some. “You won’t lose control with any of us. Besides, Mom, Hazel and I can put the whammy on you if we have to.” He said with a tiny smirk. “And Dad’s an Original. No one’s getting through him.” He said.

“Okay, I’m not sure I’m ready for the details though, you’re still my brother.” Aria chuckled teasing her sibling. “You better because you must be aware that I will pop in every few days to see how are things progressing.” She winked with a smile. The brunette at her older brother’s kind words before narrowing her eyes at him. “Why do I have the feeling you’d actually enjoy that? Even if for just a little bit.” She giggled. “I know you’re all very much equipped to make sure I don’t hurt anyone of you but it’s still something to live with for a long while.” She replied.

a slow and quiet breath left the lad as he rose to his feet after searching beneath a vacant table, hands gently clasping the straps of his bag. “where…” he muttered in a whisper, eyes scanning the entirety of the open area of the library — atop the table, below the tables. after accepting his defeat he hesitated to approach the nearest person, fingers combing through the hair on the back of his head as a wave of anxiety hit him. “uh… hey. have you seen a, uh… a history textbook laying around? or—or anyone pick one up from that table there?”

Aria was amused watching the male search around the room for the lost book - a book that was conveniently in her hands as a smirk was dancing upon her lips. Just a second before he could see it, the brunette hid her arm behind herself watching him approach her. “Hmmm... I don’t know, you tell me.” She chuckled looking up in the male’s eyes. “It couldn’t possible be this book, could it?” Raising a brow Aria mover her arm so she was able to show him what she was hiding.

“You’re ruining all of my fun here, sis.” Aria groaned. “Hmm.. I’ll had e to come in and see what new you’ve got, it’s been a while since I’ve had ice cream at your work.” The brunette smiled, Ben & Jerry’s was her salvation.
