Three oil paintings from a series called ‘The Space Between’ - I had been thinking about these self portraits for a few years- most of my paintings were much less personal. I decided the lockdown was a perfect time to execute what was in my mind. The intention though shifted as time passed and we fell deeper into isolation— with a leader who says and encourages words like the “China virus” and “Kung-flu”.
