It's done guys! I finished the porch column, a lot quicker than I thought I would! Like it says in the name, this is just a very simple metal porch column, nothing fancy. I've been wanting these in my game for ages, and I searched the internet for them for a long time to no avail. So I decided to take on the challenge of creating them myself! Keep in mind this is my first ever piece of CC that I created mesh for from scratch. I ran into a few snags, but ultimately it seems to have worked out. I tested them in my game, and they work fine and look good! Please let me know if you run into any issues, and be patient with me while I try to fix them if anything is wrong lol

Information:

These are not actual columns, but objects/sculptures. So you can't use them on taller wall heights. they only work with short walls for now. (someday I'll make more variations or make them into stretchable columns)

Comes in 2 swatches: black, and white.

Feel free to use these however you want, include them with your build downloads, whatever! Just don't claim as your own or paywall them pretty pleaseee <3

Listen, if you're gonna be complaining about generative AI, at least make sure to specify. AI technology has been used for more than half a century and is used by almost all technology at this point. The minute you get lazy and not mention it, you confuse a lot of people and that's how ignorance grows and then people will be parroting anti-AI points without actually understanding why its bad.

im so out of the loop but with the new eyelash update, is the remove ea eyelashes mod still necessary/functional? do toddlers still have those fuckass eyelashes by default

Dream Bed Revamps

The beds in the Base Game are quite outdated, and don't have enough swatches. I mean, some of us have used them for 10 years now, and they feel very repetitive. The point of this Custom Content is to give the beds, which have a beautiful mesh, new life and increase their usability! You can expect me to update this with more beds, possibly even beds from packs in the future that need a little refresh.

Hope you enjoy them as much as I do... I personally don't like to separate my beds and bed frames, so if you're like me, then this might be what you're looking for! 😊

having so much trouble building/finding the exact right house for my sims 😵‍💫 i need some excruciatingly detailed reference pics / floorplans of 1990s suburban houses for bigger families… pinterest has yet to give me exactly what i want.

does anyone know what could be causing a bunch of my cc to randomly be missing textures? i didn't unmerge any packages or anything, & when i replace the cc sometimes the textures still don't show up :( it's happening with several different creators but not with every item from any cc set so like idk what the common denominator is

finally putting the finishing touches on the parents for the one life challenge... earlier poll said they should be 'separated' but that could mean a lot of things, so!!

eye see you lashes

Ever since I saw those lashes in the base game update (and in the Lovestruck EP), I know I had to try and make some myself because I was just so unhappy about them. So, I made some! These are a little wonkier than I'd really like them to be, as they have slightly off weights (which I've tried to iron out as much as possible but to kindaaa no avail). Even so, the shape is generally ok!! It just heavily depends on the shape of your sims' eyes, and you might need to mess around with the upper eyelids to get it to be how you may want it. Still, I'm very happy with how it looks!

base game compatible

2 swatches (original black and brown) and 24 swatches that match the hair colors (similar to @ssspringroll's eyelashes!)
