Haven't really looked at the forums or on simblr just yet but from what I'm seeing so far in CAS... it feels as if it was rushed... the meshes are OKAY, but a little stiff, thew textures are kinda low quality.. the arm positions in some dresses even sit weird like.. where was the quality check?? was this really just another cash grab for EA?? like it's so disappointing.

Hi! I really like what I see of your hairs. But while this could just be an issue on my end, I find your Patreon master post difficult to navigate with how small the preview images are. Only a small section of each image is visible and oftentimes it's difficult to discern what the hair is like at all apart from a generic "short," "wavy" etc. This isn't intended to be negative, I just figured I'd mention it in case it wasn't a deliberate choice on your part and others have this problem <3

Yeah, unfortunately the new UI on patreon genuinely fucked up all of my previews so that most of my stuff isn't even visible through just looking at the preview (which defeats the purpose of previews in the first place).

Wish they had made them editable so that you can set which part of the post you can make the preview but alas, I cannot. Believe me, I have tried.

trista hair;

I was maybe a little too locked in last year and didn't really get much of a chance to play games (or the sims for that matter), so I'm a little bit late to the whole editing the meshes things for the newer games. Apparently, it doesn't really matter because this hair looks nothing like the base hairstyle lol. It's a mesh edit of the hair with a clip from the Lovestruck EP (the one with the kinda confusing bangs? that one), and in my humble opinion, it looks nothing like it. Ooops.

Fun Fact: Named after the League of Legends character, Tristana, because she has a ponytail... this hair is a ponytail... it made more sense in my head, but it seems kind of stupid now that I'm writing it down.

Happy new year everyone! I didn't really get to make a lot of stuff last year because of other priorities and physically not being able to create due to certain circumstances. But still, everything's worked out and it's a new year, and I can finally make stuff on the regular again (at least when I'm off work lol)

Anyway, this is just an edit to a Dream Home Decorator hair to have a new fringe and to be slightly lower.

Fun fact! It's named after Maki, a filipino singer whose songs I've grown to really like over the last year, so yeahh. It's also lowkey named after the California Maki / California Roll, because that's what I had for lunch earlier today... yeah...

Thank you!! I think I'm going to try and make another version and have it be a little longer (around shoulder length), unfortunately not a pixie cut, mostly because it would be a little odd for the bangs to be so long and the back be a pixie cut. But if you have a reference pic, I can definitely try!

i have an interview soon for a "real" job and im really nervous about it 🫣 i've never done a formal interview and have like no idea what to expect! do u have any tips to calm the nerves and actually be good at the interview? lol

It was only my 2nd interview as well so I actually don't think I'm good at them as well but if I can give some tips, it would be these:

Do your research. Know what the company or office does and what the position is asking of you. In my interview, they had me describe the company and what they do, so make sure you know that! Also ensure that you know the job requirements. The role was about technology transfer, so I also tried to understand what that really means. They did ask me about it, so being prepared really helped!

Rehearse your answers and anticipate questions. I tried to rehearse my introduction as best as I could and tried to practice my answers to questions that they may have. Even just talking out loud to a mirror or something will help you sound more confident. It also allows you to organize your thoughts ahead of time.

Dress nicely. If you look good, you'll feel good, and do good. Try to wear something neat and presentable, but also something you feel comfortable in.

Calm yourself down and don't overthink. Don’t overthink it. A calm mind will let you answer better than a panicked one. Right before mine, I actually watched Hermitcraft (Bdubs’ latest video lol) to chill out and reset my brain. Take deep breathes before you enter, just to calm yourself :)

Tell them you're willing to learn. If you don't know something or are unfamiliar with something, tell them just that. But make sure to show that you're teachable and willing to learn. I'm not sure if this will be helpful, but I think it's important to note.
