Okay, so if she were going to do like a family superlative thing, the sister who got “Most Likely to Bring Unnecessary Weaponry to a Lowkey Retcon Mission” would definitely go to Ariel. After all, Ariel liked to remind them repeatedly that she had gone down into hell and played murdery-stab-stab with some demons. So Andrina shouldn’t be surprised that her little sister wanted to go all YA Heroine from the Latest Series Franchise. Like a cross between Clary and Pinkie Pie from My Little Pony.
No, she was much more of an Applejack. The girl had spunk!
“Ariel, put those things back where they came from or so help me!” Andrina said to her with just the right amount of exasperation and fondness, or so she thought. “This is not that kind of mission. This is a break in, get out, kinda mission. We want stealth, not– Mr. and Mrs. Sharp And Pointy! Not to unnecessarily gender your daggers, but also to unnecessarily gender your daggers– anyway!”
She threw up her hands. Lord. She hoped no one would get their eye poked out tonight. (Though sidenote: Andrina would look hot with an eyepatch.)
“Kay, I stole Daddy’s key and made a copy of it like way long ago, so there’s no need to worry about that. However, we’ll probably have to steal a keycard at the front desk to unlock the records room. That’s Phase One. You ready? I’m going to disable the security cameras as soon as we get in while you find the keycard.” Because yes, Andrina was planning to Hack Into the Mainframe. What was the point of all those hours on Reddit Threads, or the time she briefly dated the dude from Anonymous, if she didn’t put those skills to good use?
“You do know where we live, right?” Ariel raised a brow at her sister. “I’m just being prepared for anything.”
And it was true, Ariel was trying very hard to be. She’d taken some time away, but she’d also picked up some major self defense! It helped her channel a lot of her emotions and although she wasn’t perfect she was... getting better!
“You know how to disable security cameras? That’s so cool. How are you still single?” Honestly, out of all of their sisters, Ariel found Andrina’s random skills and collections of knowledge the most fascinating.
