01. penny really likes to hold hope’s hand. it comforts her. there’s really not a time where penny isn’t entwining her fingers with hope’s. she has a habit of squeezing her hand or walking close to her when she feels troubled & this is more or less because she feels protected by her.
02. penny & hope often skip lunch & go for walks around school or to eat lunch somewhere else. penny’s also likely to skip study hall & meet hope in the bathrooms or hang out with her in the library. they occupy a corner with bean bag chairs & their binders / folders up on the tables so they can have their ‘privacy’ usually them sitting close to each other while penny shares her CD player with her. yes , they’re holding hands here too!
03. penny knows what snacks & drinks hope likes & will stop by her class to drop off food for her. penny is 100% that friend that stands outside the window of class , waving her arms trying to get hope’s attention. if hope is in study hall or a chill class penny will walk right in & give it to her. probably start conversation & will get in trouble by the teacher lmao.
04. hope is one of penny’s friends she takes on trips with her. if it’s a long day & they’re driving back at night , after doing a lot of things , penny will fall asleep on hope in the backseat because she feels comfortable with her. penny doesn’t mind sharing a bed or blankets with her either.
05. if penny’s having problems with somebody & she can’t handle it herself she will tell hope. she has no problem telling on somebody to hope. she gets kind of smug ... loves to watch her be badass. hope does what she has to & penny’s smirking off to the side. ends up holding her hand or linking arms with her. we love to see it.
06. penny thinks hope is very pretty.
